EaThai
EaThai — one of Avondale's strongest thai spots. Rooted in technique and tradition throughout. Warm, genuine service throughout. Priced right, BYOB. Chad Norwood (aww yeah): "They offered mild, medium, spicy, and Thai hot - medium was not spicy at all, but spicy" [patio]

“SO good!! One of the best pad Thais I’ve ever had. Everyone there is si friendly too. Highly recommend.”

“Best Thai food I've ever had in my life. I've had a lot of Thai food.”

“I loved the food! I’d recommend asking for the vegetables to be light and for light ice. Everything I tried was great, and I would definitely come back. My only complaint was the cup of water—I personally didn’t like the taste.”

“Yummy food. The staff know what's gluten free which is nice. Their pad Thai is, btw. Definitely worth visiting. Love it here!”

“EaThai is such a cute spot with a cozy atmosphere, great music and amazing value for the portions you get. The staff is always incredibly friendly and I keep coming back because the food is consistently delicious.”

“BYOB. Medium is spicy, so request at your own discretion. Great food and extremely kind service.”

“I popped in with a buddy and went for the drunken doodles. The spice level was good and it was filling. I also tried the green curry which was creamy and comforting. The staff were friendly and the setting felt easygoing. I cannot wait to head back.”

“Chicago thai food isn’t the greatest but this is the best I’ve tried so far! I had the pad kee mao with tofu and my boyfriend had the chicken basil with rice. The crab rangoon appetizer was very good as well with lots of filling inside. The portions were perfect and the price was very reasonable as well. I will definitely be back here!”

“First time trying EaThai and it is absolutely delicious, great price too and a cozy homey atmosphere. I had the crab rangoons and pad kee mao with vegetables and everything was great”

“Crab rangoons 4/5⭐️ These were the most stuffed that I’ve had, they definitely don’t skimp on the filling! The wontons were a bit too thick and fried than I prefer, but still delicious! Green curry 4/5⭐️ I usually love green curry, and this DID NOT disappoint! It also comes with rice Pad Thai 2/5⭐️ The person I was with liked the pad Thai, but it had too much fish sauce for me (making it taste a bit like dog food—I’ve never understood when people say that, but now I get it haha) Great service!! They were so kind :)”

“Small corner restaurant. Many high reviews so I was looking forward the meal. Small menu with common Thai foods. I was disappointed with my meal and Thai coffee. I had the Pad Jango which was ok but a small portion. My wife had Pad Won Sen and said it was lacking flavor. Friendly attentive staff.”
