Tuk Tuk Thai Isan Street Food (Wicker Park) — high-caliber thai in Noble Square. The noise level tells you everything you need to know. Nothing here has been watered down. Joey H: "The grilled pork neck was delicious, and the green curry is probably the best I’ve had in Chicago"

We arrived at 8:30 pm, and they told us to wait.
I don’t usually go out of my way to leave bad reviews, but I felt like I needed to with this one.
We were so excited to see a location open in the Wicker Park neighborhood.

“Loved everything about Tuktuk Thai Isan Street Food.”
Loved everything about Tuktuk Thai Isan Street Food! The food was super flavorful and authentic. You can tell they put a lot of heart into every dish. And Vachira was awesome -- super friendly and on top of everything. We went for their grand opening. Can’t wait to go back! Update: We've been back a few times since the opening, and the food and service are still excellent!

The pad see ew had a nice texture and I liked the sauce. When I went, they didn't have the mango sticky rice but I hope they'll have it next time! :)

“Amazing pad Thai and I love that it's gluten free.”
Amazing pad Thai and I love that it's gluten free! It can be a challenge to find gluten free noodles and pad Thai, and they had so many options and it was delicious! We will definitely be back! I would definitely recommend making a reservation on a busy weekend since it's not very big!

“This place is a gem.”
This place is a gem. Everyone we encountered were very friendly and accommodating. My husband had a spicy dish but asked if the spiciness could be reduced a bit for him and they happily obliged. It was difficult trying to pick which dishes we wanted. They all looked good. We ended up ordering the Kai Tod(marinated deep fried wings, not pictured), Kai Yang (charcoal grilled marinated chicken quarters), Tim Thai (original Thai style green papaya salad), and Plain Lui Susan (deep fried while snapper). Just an immense explosion of flavors. Salty, sour, sweet, and spicy. We loved it.

“One of the biggest restaurant surprises I had in a long time.”
One of the biggest restaurant surprises I had in a long time. First off, super cute and fun interior. It in itself is a fun experience and worth seeing. Lots of colors and great for a date. The food is spectacular. I had the pork neck appetizer and pork belly dinner. Both were delicious, tasted fresh and clean, and had interesting flavors. I also got the Thai tea, which was super milky, not too sweet, and sooooo orange. Really great drink. Can't wait to take my gf there. Reservations recommended!

“Walked in and the sounds, smells and feel felt like I was back in Thailand.”
Walked in and the sounds, smells and feel felt like I was back in Thailand. Tasted like it too!! Loved the tum Thai papaya salad, kor moo yang, and tiger tear. For the adventurous seafood folks, I’d definitely get the plaa pad prik.

“Tuk Tuk Thai Street Food – Wicker Park ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Tuk Tuk just opened in Wicker Park and instantly...”
Tuk Tuk Thai Street Food – Wicker Park ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Tuk Tuk just opened in Wicker Park and instantly became one of my favorite Thai spots. The spicy shrimp-and-squid stir-fry was authentic northeastern Thai — bold, spicy, and full of real street-food flavor. The crispy fried egg on the rice was perfect. Huge shout-out to Wanas, who took extra care with every table and made the whole experience even better. Bright, fun décor, great energy, and seriously delicious food. Highly recommend!
