“I can not give Docks a bad review in general. However I placed an order through toast online for delivery because it gave that option. I called Docks to see if they received it and they did not. So I had to go to the Dock on 35th. I showed proof that I ordered through my bank account. I could not understand why no one could assist me. I had meds to take and spent the all but 4 dollars and some change. However something went wrong with the Toast softwear that is posted on Docks site as the preferred app to use. It charged me for the delivery plus I added 5.00 more for tip. Toast stated that it is a software company and the Merchant would have to clear the transaction. My money is still processing and have not been charged or released. That was Thursday today is Saturday. I just want my funds or food to complete this. I there was a mistake on a website that I carry as an owner I would have handled it ASAP. I only order a fish combo a bean pie and two okras. A Sister who is a customer explained the particulars. She also bought me a fish sandwich 🥰 it was the BEST fish sandwich ever💯 it came with fries and a lemonade. If I had my fuss I would of bought another one. Yummy🥰. So to the owner call toast and take notes and have the release that incomplete order. We love Docks! Love and Light Amira”
“I had tried their food today (Aug 30, 2025) for the first time, started off small with a kids meal (I didn’t know what I was going to get myself into) and it was actually very good. I’m looking forward to having their food again!”

“The Fishwich sandwich is a Chicago Classic! Dock's has a very tasty, freshly made, fried fish sandwich, The Fishwich! 😋 They also have delicious Perch, Catfish, and Shrimp dinners, but the Fishwich & Docberry Shake are the best! It's mainly carryout, but there is a small seating area that is usually available. Parking on the street and in the free lot across the street. A combo w/ shake is under $20 and worth every bite & sip 😉”
“Went to this Docks on a Monday early afternoon. The service was super fast. The food was hot and good however, I really didn’t care for the tartar sauce. It seemed to be a little runny, and they charge $.75 for cheese overall good experience had a # 1 meal.”
“Literally just spent $70 in there. The lady piles all my food into one bag and gives me the biggest hassle about .08 cent for another bag. I asked could she just separate the food and she still wanted .08 cents. WONT BE GETTING MY MONEY FOR A LONG TIME. IM ALWAYS AT DOCKS AND THE FACT ANOTHER CUSTOMER WHO OVERHEARD PAID THE 8 CENTS FOR ME WHEN I SPENT $70 IS RIDICULOUS!”
