5 out of 5 stars! I visited the Little Sandwich House today had a shrimp salad, and it was absolutely delicious. The combination of fresh shrimp, crisp apples, beets, cilantro, red onions, and a simple olive oil dressing was perfect, light, refreshing, and full of flavor. Every bite was balanced and satisfying without feeling heavy. I’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend!

I had such a great time visiting The Little Sandwich House on Oakenwald in Chicago. From the moment I walked in, the vibes were welcoming and calm—perfect for a relaxing lunch or even getting some work done. The aesthetics are super cozy and thoughtfully designed, giving it a unique charm that stands out. I was really impressed as I’m an interior designer. They offer a nice variety of smoothies, pastries, and sandwiches. I ordered the Ham & Turkey Sandwich, which typically isn’t made Panini style, but the staff was so kind and accommodating. They made it Panini style just for me, and it was delicious! It’s a quiet spot that’s also great for working or unwinding. They even have board games if you’re in the mood for a little fun while you hang out. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area!

Hi World, My name is Lawrence ( Instagram Lawrence_vs_law) a local Artist/Photographer. Me and a friend stopped by yesterday, 4/29/2025, for our first time and was met with so much hospitality kind and amazing service that came with the deliciousness in the form of sandwiches that were fresh and scrumptious. Wanna give a specific shout out to Julian and Jeremiah. Our experience would not have been what it twas without these 2 Gems....They offer games such as Uno and connect 4 along with some others and a bookshelf if you're interested in reading while visiting. They also have Wi-Fi. Can't wait to visit again! So much love and success for this neighborhood Marvel!

Such a cute little cafe! The food and coffee were delicious! We got a breakfast wrap, the Chuck Berry, a blueberry muffin, a mocha latte and a matcha latte. Absolutely nothing to complain about!

SOOO GOODDDD!! So happy I was in the area and decided to find a place to eat 11/10 The owner is very nice, genuine and passionate, and the building is very welcoming and cozy. They even warmed my donut and brought my food out to me😭Ty guys so much for making my day, please never close I will be coming back and forcing my friends and family to come lol Also! They have flyers and cards for things in and about the city and local community in the store, and that shows a lot to me about their values╰(*´︶`*)╯♡ Much love to LSH and anyone reading this💛✨

I absolutely love this place! I found it online a few months ago and came here again today to work from. Extremely affordable, has vegetarian options, and high quality ingredients. The coffee tasted great, the Chicken Enchilada Soup was warm and tasty. I recommend the green smoothie, no jalepeno, add peanut butter. Don't knock it until you try it ;) It's a beautiful location highlighting the diversity within community and is welcoming of everyone. Julian was friendly and calm, even when witnessing a large rush.
