“Been to Queen K’s twice now and both times were great. Got the catfish plate the first time and the 5 wing plate the second. Let me get this out the way now, this some of the best catfish I ever had. Wings were well seasoned and cooked perfectly. Greens were great, loved the chunks of turkey in there too. Whatever dessert they have for the day, get that. Strawberry cheesecake egg rolls had no business being as good as they were. As for the service, be patient. Chef T is a one-man show. His service is warm and he treats everyone like family. Can’t wait to come back.”

“If you want delicious, affordable, soul food with a home cooked meal feel, Queen K’s is the place to be. I was feeling homesick, so I went to Queen K’s for Christmas dinner to get the food I love this time of year. The chef was very friendly and the food was amazing! I l left feeling happier than when I first arrived. The fried chicken combo was so good. Chicken was delightful, green and Mac n cheese were great! We also got a side of candied yams, and those were the best yams I’ve had in a long time. 10/10. My meal was mostly quiet because my fiancé, her sister, and I were too busy enjoying the food to talk. Thank you Queen K’s. You gave me a small pice of home back yesterday and I really appreciate that.”

“Visiting from Texas. The owner was extremely nice. My food was hot. Chicken tasted fresh and crispy. I personally wasn’t a huge fan of the mac and cheese. But the greens and corn bread were delicious. Yams could have been a bit more sweeter… overall very good experience”

“Was charged an extra $2 per meal the catfish dinner $25=$27 and 5 wing dinner $18=20 no big deal. But here the kicker when I got back home with the food the wings are extra small plus cooked In old oil, The greens are canned (You should let the customers know before ordering)and the Mac is not it. The catfish was ok but small and also fried in old oil also it wasn’t give cajun. To be honest the only thing we like was the yams.”

I ordered the wings with gravy, greens, baked mac and cheese, and the banana pudding cake, and every single bite was absolutely incredible. Everything was seasoned perfectly, fresh, and made with love. The banana pudding cake was the perfect way to end an amazing meal! What made the experience even better was Chef T himself. He's genuinely kind, down-to-earth, and makes you feel like family the moment you walk in. The wait didn't even feel like a wait because we spent the whole time talking and laughing. That's the kind of customer service you don't find just anywhere. It's safe to say I've found my new Saturday night takeout spot.
