“This is THE BEST location in Chicago for all nature lovers”
Nice little spot in the city for a brief walk. Beautiful Japanese gardens, water, and Koi fish.
The Garden of Phoenix is a beautiful serene place. It's clean and relaxing. I will continue to go there.

“Nice little spot in the city for a brief walk.”
Nice little spot in the city for a brief walk. Beautiful Japanese gardens, water, and Koi fish. The main trail was closed off from where we parked so we had to walk all the way around the museum.

A must see. Convenient parking lot close by. The garden is beautiful, peaceful. Nice views of the Museum of Science and Industry and the Obama Library. Lovely native plants in the surrounding park/trails.

“Oh it’s so beautiful and serene.”
Oh it’s so beautiful and serene. Though two big groups were there having picnic and music but there are so many corners to sit and enjoy the beauty of this garden without getting distracted and disturbed I can sit here for hours with a book to read in between. Perfect place for photography too. One should carry something to eat and water Cycling can be fun here. In and around the area is also enchanting.

Jackson Park, as a whole, is easily the coolest park in all of Chicago Garden of the Phoenix, specifically, is the crown jewel of the park It's a little hard to trek to depending on your starting point, but trust me, it is WELL worth the hike Don't overlook the south side, ever

“The garden was pretty.”
The garden was pretty. There was a bridge, laterns, and some beautiful bonsai trees. Going during cherry blossom bloom made it even more beautiful. There were a lot of ppl there, so it was hard to get good pictures. It was a very far walk. It would be easiest to park by the Griffin Museum of Science and Industry.

What a place. Tranquil, manicured, serene. Those are all words that came to mind when I visited today. Check it out if you appreciate nature and landscaping.

“This is a really beautiful and peaceful Japanese garden, hidden away in the heart of Jackson Park.”
This is a really beautiful and peaceful Japanese garden, hidden away in the heart of Jackson Park. It almost makes you forget you’re in Chicago (Not a Dig against Chicago) and instead you’re in Kyoto or something. It’s truly a sight to behold, especially if you love Japanese Art, architecture and culture, like myself. This place is great if you like peaceful scenery and just utter Tranquility. If you’re respectful about it, I also feel this place would be a perfect backdrop for Cosplay photography or even regular photography and While I went in summer, I hear that in spring they have Sakura (Cherry blossoms). Best part it’s completely free to enter, you just have to find it. And I totally recommend that you do.

Great place to spend a summer day on the grass, looking out at the water, a spring day looking at all the trees blossoming and a fall day enjoying the respite before Chicago winter.

“Very elegant Japanese garden.”
Very elegant Japanese garden. I saw a couple was taking photos on the bridge. The pond is green, but the man made waterfall is clean. You could not see the science museum from the garden. The trees blocked your view.
