Took a 4 day trip to Chicago and this was the best Italian beef that I could find!!! Service was better than any of the other restaurants/stores we went to while we were here. Family running the front counter were extremely helpful, courteous, and gave a bunch of “thank you’s” to us. Food was excellent, affordable, and fresh. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience while coming to Chicago. This Texan will be back next summer when it’s less cold!!

I forgot how great is the food here since I haven’t been here since Covid I’ve been coming here for the past 25 years I’m a big fan of Italian beef and these guys nailed it 👌 I love there menu options and the portion of the food is just right as always Friendly staff who been there for the longest time and fast service Definitely recommend them and coming back to get my Philly steak 😊😋

My first Chicago style hotdog and it’s good. Now this place looks like a hole in the wall and it probably is, but you know the food is good. I went in the summer on a Saturday late night and just had two dogs and boy where they good.

“These workers have their brains connected.”

These workers have their brains connected. I have never seen such efficient service from two workers, serving a non-stop line with intoxicated individuals that don't speak clearly. There were two people, one was taking the orders and literally mumbling it to the other guy, and this first person was in charge of the fries and desserts. The other guy was cooking everything, making sandwiches, and dealing with the cash register. This was just an incredible real-life simulation of a cooking game - nothing was overcooked even though one worker spent some time at the register, and no order was made incorrectly. Stuff came out fast, too. Now, onto the food - it's DELICIOUS! I loved the hoagie, but I saw some other people get fries or hot dogs - I didn't get those, but I will try it next time. We forgot to take pictures of the sandwich though. If you want good fast food, come here! The ambience at night is great and they open late on Fridays and Saturdays. Great post-party food!

“We loved walking by this gem in the downtown/Mag Mile area.”

We loved walking by this gem in the downtown/Mag Mile area. We were looking for some Chicago Style Hot Dogs and lots of places were closed on Easter Sunday. When we walked up, there was already a local customer waiting outside for the store to be opened up. He told us he has been coming to this place for 30 years. Once the restaurant opened we were greeted with a friendly smile and picked two Chicago favorites. The Polish and Italian sausage. Those Hot Dogs were just simply amazing and the price is very reasonable compared to restaurants in the area. Next time, when you visit Chicago, don’t overlook this small locally owned spot that’s been open for over 70 years.
