I caught a glimpse of a lunch special posted on the front window of the La Parilla Restaurant located on (Irving Park and Narragansett) while running errands. I ordered the chicken and my husband ordered the steak lunch special. The lunch special comes with your choice of chicken or steak, white rice, black beans and salad. We loved it! It was very tasty and tender. The flavors and spices of these Columbian dishes will definitely bring us back for more. We started with empanadas as appetizers. He had the empanada de carne and I had the chicken empanada. Simply delicious.

One of my favorite spots! La Parrilla is such a vibe—the decor is super cute and authentically Colombian. It feels like you’re stepping into a little piece of Colombia. I had the carne asada with maduros, rice, beans, salad, and a natural guanábana shake (that’s soursop in English!)—everything was delicious. The flavors were on point, and the food was fresh and full of love. The service was outstanding, and the whole place gives off a warm, family-friendly atmosphere. Just a heads-up: there’s no parking lot, only street parking, so plan ahead if you’re visiting during busy hours. Highly recommend for a cozy, authentic Colombian experience! 🇨🇴

We've found our new go-to spot! The food was incredible, the atmosphere transported us to Colombia and made us feel like we were on vacation. Alicia, our waitress, provided exceptional service, expertly explaining the menu and offering fantastic recommendations. The music and overall experience were also top-notch! 🙏🏻♥️

Amazing food and great service. I ordered a churrasco Bandeja Paisa, passion fruit juice and a flan for dessert. Everything was tasty and very quick. You definitely have to stop by this hidden gem, specially if you are looking for an authentic colombian food.
