Favorite hot pot place!! This was my 3rd visit and I prefer this location over the one in Chinatown. Food is always amazing, i recommend getting the half and half broth (original and spicy).

Great selection of Salated makings, easy to prepare your food on the hot pot tables. Even offers bibs. And, great desert selections. Great place to have large groups in a reserved room, depending on group size.

I prefer this location than others. The restaurant is very tidy and veggies are fresh. Decent customer service as well. Meat quality is excellent. Definitely will come back here.

“Already planning my next visit.”

Already planning my next visit! Every time I eat here I always leave full (not the heavy kind of full but a satisfactory type of full), the staff are wonderful and there’s some privacy. They have two halal meat options but make sure to ask them to not add the meat broth into your desired broth(s).

Before coming here, I read the reviews, and I'm glad I visited this restaurant. The aesthetics of the meal are impressive! You should come here hungry to fully appreciate the first impression. The food is plentiful and affordable. This is an optimal restaurant in terms of price, service quality, and food.

Personally hot pot isn’t for me but it was such a fun experience! Parking was easy to find, and when we arrived we got seated right away. The server was extremely nice explaining the process and walking us through the buffet. Good food and good vibes overall. Thank you guys !

Fresh meat with great variety of food to choose from. Very friendly employees with welcoming atmosphere. Not as authentic as other hot pot places but good enough for anyone who wants to try hot pot!

“Great selection of meats and veggies.”

Great selection of meats and veggies! We did the “all you can eat - premium” selection which allows you to pick from any of the meats on the menu! The AYCE - classic option also has a lot of options but you do not get to select any of the premier meats on the menu (ribeye steak, octopus, a nicer lamb meat selection amongst others). Our table was wonderful! Even tho it was a long table and we were sat with another party dining, there were dividers provided to help create some privacy. Bonus was that my meal was free because it was my birthday which was a nice surprise! (Meal only free on day of your actual birthday with valid state ID or drivers license)! If you’re looking for good food at a great price this is the place for you! Can not wait to return back :)

This was the first time my sister and I have ever had hot pot so there’s no experience to compare it to. With that being said we absolutely loved the place. We thought all the food was so fresh and delicious. The quality of the meats were great. We ordered the premium package. I’m not exactly sure what’s included because we went with the servers recommendations (she picked all the meats for us) There was a fresh bar for all of our topping to go in the hot pot. There was also a sauce bar where you could make your own flavorful sauce. We both ordered a pineapple smoothie. We really enjoyed it. Unfortunately you can’t take any of the leftovers so we stuffed ourselves while sitting and enjoying the atmosphere and conversation. We went at 11:45am which is pretty near opening so it wasn’t crowded at all. Never felt rush and the service was top tier.

In my top 2 favorite hot pot places. The buffet is great, the meats are great, LOVE that soda is included and it’s self-service. Would easily be my #1 hotpot spot except that the sauces aren’t as extensive or good as some of the ones I’ve been to before.

“We came here for weekday lunch.”

We came here for weekday lunch. The happy hour was fantastic! We loved the beef and lamb a lot, they all tasted differently well! We will definitely come back again at some point! The price is unbeatable and the quality is great too! A couple of things that can probably get improved: the music was a bit too loud for us, the choice of sauce is a bit limited though we had our favorite, the stove was a bit annoying as the center boiled too much while the edge wasn't boiling. Other than these imperfections, it has been my favorite here so far!

Happy Lamb Hot Pot newest location on Halsted is a step above the rest. Raving about the all you can eat experience. Choose your broths and pick your own ingredients from the buffet. So many different cuts of Meats, seafood, vegetable and noodles to select. Cocktail and drink menu keeps you hydrated with local and imported wine, liquor or beers. Slide into the comfy booth and prep your own meal in flavorful broths. Unlike other local hot pots, their side condiment bar is no charge. Their egg rolls, diced herbs and spices were a hit. Happy Lamb Hot Pot service is prompt and efficient Pro tip, check in online through Yelp and then head over for the table. We'll be dining at Happy Lamb Hot Pot again and again. The fresh lamb, beef variety of mushrooms, tofu and glass noodles can't be beat.
