“I've eaten at a few restaurants in Devon, but this is my favorite thus far”
When in Chicago i always make it a point to come to Devon and have Indian food.
I ordered parathas but they have sent me chapatis in my order this is so disappointing I don’t care how much I was charged but this is totally wrong if you don’t have the item which I ordered then simply let the dasher know or myself.
Always a big fan of food here at Dastarkhwan. I make sure to try every single time I visit Chicago.

“Had a great dining experience at Dastarkhwan.”
Had a great dining experience at Dastarkhwan. The food was flavorful and authentic, and the service really stood out. Our server, Syed, was attentive, polite, and made sure everything was perfect throughout the meal. He gave great recommendations and checked on us just the right amount. Will definitely be back!

“Welcome to Chicago, and welcome to a fantastic new dining spot: Daslarkhwan.”
Welcome to Chicago, and welcome to a fantastic new dining spot: Daslarkhwan. This place serves up a delicious mix of Indian, Pakistani, Chinese, and Mughlai cuisine—think flavorful biryani, kebabs, and more. The service is excellent, prices are decent, and it’s quickly become my new favorite go-to. I can’t wait to try more dishes because the menu is packed with vegetarian options, appetizers, chicken, rice, mutton, Indo-Chinese grill items, desserts, breads, and drinks. And speaking of desserts—there’s one bright orange dessert I can barely pronounce, but it’s an 11 out of 10 in my book. Definitely check this place out if you’re in town!

Dastarkhwan is the best for those who are seeking for best authentic spicy Indian food. I'll suggest the starters especially chilli prawn🍤 are the must try items. And noodles🍜 is one of the best item which gives u the indian street style feel.

“Very delicious food.”
Very delicious food! I've eaten at a few restaurants in Devon, but this is my favorite thus far. We come from Florida all the way to Chicago to visit to enjoy the city, and this will undoubtedly become a regular destination for us. The chicken, biryani, and haleem were all really delicious. I'm not very familiar with the other eateries, but if you're in the neighborhood, you really should go here. You're in for a treat if Salman is your chef as well; he handled things quite well. He is incredibly professional, courteous, timely, and eager to help. He was really friendly and provided excellent customer service.

“Their ambience isn't attractive and dine-in condition isn't praise worthy however, their food...”
Their ambience isn't attractive and dine-in condition isn't praise worthy however, their food tastes really good and price is pretty affordable. They appreciate take out rather dine in. Their setving time is in order. We ordered chicken matka which was a Saturday special $10 dish and mutton saffron dum biryani, $18. Both were plenty in meat and rice. Dum biryani could serve 3-4 people with that amount of rice and meat. As a Biryani lover I adored that dish, my kid loved that too. They provide additional tomato chilli chatni, yogart, a masala sauce and cut onions to bring more taste according to your bud. We ended our food craving with complementary milk tea, this tea you must try before leaving the shop. Overall, only drawback was, no drinking water on the house. Good food. Good taste. Good behavior.

The texture is perfectly smooth, with tender meat blending seamlessly into the wheat and lentils. The aromatic spices elevate the taste, making it a must-try for haleem lovers. “Had butter chicken and paratha.”
Had butter chicken and paratha. Paratha was dry and tasted like flour like it was reheated. Chicken was also dry on inside and was not sweet tasting like others. Also it only came with like 6 pieces chicken too. I understand this place is busy during ramadan but their food is not worth the cost (18$). Would not return here.

“First, we started with the goat fry, which was good.”
First, we started with the goat fry, which was good. They might have made it a little spicier than usual—we specifically requested spicy, but the server didn’t seem to care. However, the biryani here was absolutely delicious. The goat was tender, and the taste was just awesome. I felt like they added Dalda to the biryani because it was very greasy—not like fatty goat, but more like the texture of Dalda. Then, they brought me a spoon, but both biryanis had unclean spoons. One of my friends got pissed off and said he’s never coming back. For me, though, I loved the biryani. The chapathi and goat curry were good, but not amazing.
