I visited this location for the silent party... And I must say it was a vibe!! Standing room only!!! So wear some comfy shoes.. I'm definitely return back to this establishment and the tickets was only $10.

I can honestly say that this time I believe the service was better than the food. Not that the food was bad but that the service and the bartender was so good. Shay I believe was her name gave me a lot of recommendations, places to go and travel outside of Chicago. She was very helpful. The drinks were heavy And the chicken was good. The place I went to beforehand was packed, but I was able to walk in bar 22 on the first snow of the season had a solid drink and walked out, barely before blacking out. I will return for try out Sunday brunch

“The parking is really tricky.”

The parking is really tricky.. it’s residential parking on the end of the block and Michigan is always relatively busy and buzzing.. so I had to circle around a few times to find parking. I actually had to go to Wabash st and I almost decided to just not even go in.. I was coming down for a friend’s event and I’m glad I came.. very beautiful space.. from the food, drinks and decor.. no complaints at all.. guys may have to add a valet service.. other than that keep up the good work

Owner was super nice and accomodating there were no chairs at the bar due to the event and I asked him for chair because I had just had surgery a few months back though I can do moderate activity. I still needed to sit in. The other tables were reserved and he gave me a chair. He was so nice!! The bartenders were super nice and the food was decent as well!!

We had a great time celebrating a friend’s birthday. We did the $50 brunch special. Everything I tried was delicious. I really enjoyed the pasta dish, I ordered it twice 😊. I loved the table service, All employees were friendly. The owner, DJ was very professional. I will definitely visit again!

“I enjoyed this place.”

I enjoyed this place. The shrimp tacos were amazing and our Bartender definitely made the drinks just how I like them, strong! The DJ was on point with the music and it’s plenty of space to just dance. FYI: If you’re driving, park on 23rd and Michigan so you won’t get ticketed or towed.

“I went for the Bears game against Green Bay.”

I went for the Bears game against Green Bay. It took almost an hour (no lie) for two orders of mozzarella sticks and fried shrimp. The waitress apologized and said it was only one cool back there... the mozzarella sticks were small but really good, and the shrimp was 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥. One of the bartenders J kept coming checking on us and she had a fun energy. Another bartender gave us an extra shot because of the wait for drinks. I will say as far at atmosphere there were no sports posters or pics or looked very plain. Also I was in the middle of the bar, the lights were not on and it felt like the heat wasn't either 😆😆😆😆😆. The owner was real nice though he gave everybody a free shot when the Bears won. (Side note- our waitress said he would come over to talk to us about the food taking all day and he never did).

“If I could give this place zero stars I WOULD.”

If I could give this place zero stars I WOULD! Let’s start off by saying my party of six paid $48 a piece for what the internet said was bottomless mimosas and all you can eat. We get in and was told that the bottomless mimosas wasn’t included and that just because that’s what is being promoted on the internet is not what they do inside. And to top it off our party could not seat together even through we got there on time. This place custom services is Horrible!!!!!! I would NEVER GO BACK!!!! This is a picture of the manager

HUGE shoutout to Lionell and the team at Bar 22! I’ve been coming here from STL for 4 years, but they went above and beyond on 12/13/25. ​When our original venue caught fire right as my sorority (OMEGA XI DELTA SORORITY, INC.) arrived for our New Member Presentation, Bar 22 stepped in and saved the day. They accommodated 70 people on the fly and made sure our showcase was a success. ​The atmosphere was 10/10, the staff was so patient, and the DJ was incredible at adapting to our needs. Food and drinks were top-tier as usual. Thank you for turning a potential disaster into an amazing night! Highly recommend for brunch, drinks, or your next big event.
