Food is really good, and very consistent. Eggs rolls are delicious. Our only complaint with the food is that they give you chicken fried rice. We far prefer shrimp fried rice. The chicken doesn't add much taste. The dishes we got were Kung Pao Chicken, and Mongolian Beef, not spicy. Both were excellent. We also had shrimp egg foo young, which was excellent. We liked the grvy being separate. A lousy egg foo young is often covered in the gravy. This one was excellent, and didn't need the gravy! Wonton soup was OK. Not the best, not the worst. Fortunately for us, the restaurant isn't close to home or we would be here every other day. Be patient. They have a lot of carryout orders and sometimes the wait can be a half hour or more, but your food will be piping hot and crisp when it's ready.

Ive been coming here for years and LOVE the food. Now I’m rethinking ever coming back because this was disgusting. Should have been keeping up with the other reviews of people finding bugs in their food, but finding tiny beetles/worms BAKED INTO YOUR SHRIMP TOAST IS NASTY!!!!!! This shouldnt be allowed to happen to multiple people!! Get a better health inspection. Absolutely disappointing. 🤮🤮🤮🤮

Their Mongolian beef and combination mandarin stir fry noodles are their best entrees. The prices of the foods are decent. Also, their average time to cook at least 2 entrees usually takes 15 minutes consistently. The area outside is clean and there is no trash/litter in front of the main entrance.

I’ve been coming to this Chinese restaurant for years, and the food has consistently been excellent. Easily one of the best on the northwest side of Chicago, it offers flavorful, well-prepared dishes every time. My mom’s favorite is the Empress Chicken, which is always cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The service is friendly, and the restaurant is clean, making it a reliable spot for a satisfying meal any time.

I've eaten at hundreds of Chinese restaurants over the years & Mayflower is excellent, excellent!! This was first time trying Mayflower. I ordered the Lunch Special - incredibly tasty Yushan Beef - just the right amount of vegetables to beef ratio. Vegatables cooked perfectly, slightly crisp, beef succulent & tender. Sauce was great, just right amount of spiciness with a hint of sweetness. Eggroll was on par with some of the best eggrolls I've had. Great prices for the amount of food you receive. Will definitely be back!

One of my favorite Chinese places in Chicago...amazing food, nice and pretty clean , they do a lot for to go , so many ,orders never mixed mine and I suppose others from how busy they are.. also we go to May Flower for over 25 years and their food never changed the taste, quality and size...my favorite Beef Chow Fun, Orange chicken or combo fried noodles...everything is so good but not all restaurants have Beef chow fun or have the Orange chicken with this flavor...please try this place , the prices are acceptable too compared with others.

The food is great! We ordered, Beef Fried Rice, Mongolian Beef, Shrimp Fried Rice and Egg Foo Young. We also tried the egg rolls! Very good! When the food was delivered, it was very nice and warm. We definitely recommend this restaurant.
