“Small place with limited seating. The food is very good, but takes a little while to be served. The food is worth the wait, though. Good deal for the money.”

“Food is really good, and very consistent. Eggs rolls are delicious. Our only complaint with the food is that they give you chicken fried rice. We far prefer shrimp fried rice. The chicken doesn't add much taste. The dishes we got were Kung Pao Chicken, and Mongolian Beef, not spicy. Both were excellent. We also had shrimp egg foo young, which was excellent. We liked the grvy being separate. A lousy egg foo young is often covered in the gravy. This one was excellent, and didn't need the gravy! Wonton soup was OK. Not the best, not the worst. Fortunately for us, the restaurant isn't close to home or we would be here every other day. Be patient. They have a lot of carryout orders and sometimes the wait can be a half hour or more, but your food will be piping hot and crisp when it's ready.”
“I absolutely adore this place. Been ordering from here for years. Special shout out to the crunch of their egg rolls!”
“I had my order deliver to my home and it was the first time I was asked to tip and when I looked surprised and Said I had paid 5 dollars delivery from restaurant two blocks away from my home he said that gas was getting expensive and that he would not be asking if times weren't hard I was shocked I had to tip no matter what so I did 5 dollars extra amounted to 10 dollars out of pocket only for the laziness of not picking up myself.”
“A quintessential hole-in-the-wall Chinese take-out place. The eat-in area is very basic and I wouldn't recommend eating there, but for take-out the place is spot-on. They're incredibly consistent with the quality of their food and not overly expensive. I haven't seen them on Doordash or Grubhub, but they do deliver. It's worth skipping the convenience of the apps and ordering from them directly, especially if you live near by.”
“The best food for the competitive prices. Other than being the best around, flavor wise, but costs 1/3 less than the upscale busy restaurants.”
“Their Mongolian beef and combination mandarin stir fry noodles are their best entrees. The prices of the foods are decent. Also, their average time to cook at least 2 entrees usually takes 15 minutes consistently. The area outside is clean and there is no trash/litter in front of the main entrance.”
“I use to come here as a kid growing up and it was the go to restaurant for authentic Chinese food. Years later, and this place still is as consistent as back then. Love it! Continue making great food. Thank you.”
“My husband and I drive from northwest suburbs twice month for takeout. We've never been disappointed with food or service. I forgot to mention their smoothie are delicious. Awesome food.”
“I’ve been coming to this Chinese restaurant for years, and the food has consistently been excellent. Easily one of the best on the northwest side of Chicago, it offers flavorful, well-prepared dishes every time. My mom’s favorite is the Empress Chicken, which is always cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The service is friendly, and the restaurant is clean, making it a reliable spot for a satisfying meal any time.”
“I've eaten at hundreds of Chinese restaurants over the years & Mayflower is excellent, excellent!! This was first time trying Mayflower. I ordered the Lunch Special - incredibly tasty Yushan Beef - just the right amount of vegetables to beef ratio. Vegatables cooked perfectly, slightly crisp, beef succulent & tender. Sauce was great, just right amount of spiciness with a hint of sweetness. Eggroll was on par with some of the best eggrolls I've had. Great prices for the amount of food you receive. Will definitely be back!”
