“BEST TAKEOUT IN CHICAGO. We love this place and can’t help but get it once a week. The portions are great and they use fresh ingredients. Can’t recommend it enough.”

“I loved coming here, it was so small and convenient for me and my friends to eat and the lovely owners had treated us so nice and took care of us and fed us well! She even gave us some free drinks she was so sweet, I would go back just to see them again. Their food is so good. Underrated restaurant. Please show these people some love. ❤️”

“Walked in and placed a take out order. It was fast, easy, and delicious. We got the beef chow fun, orange chicken, egg rolls and dumplings. It was all so flavorful! The new owners treated us to one of their mango smoothies. We live in the neighborhood and will definitely be frequent visitors. Show them some love and stop in. You won’t regret it!”

“staff was really friendly and food was great! the decorations inside the restaurant are really cute too”

“I eat here once a week, sometimes twice! The food is good, the portions are amazing. I do the dinner combo often and it lasts me 2-3 meals. The smoothies are absolutely crazy, probably the best I've ever had. The fruit is always fresh and flavorful. And the owner is very kind. This place is probably the best bang for your buck in the neighborhood. EDIT 6/15/2025: RIP Hana Dragon..it was a good run. Management seems to have changed recently and the overall value is not there anymore - what happened to the dinner special? Also, the menu seems to have half of the amount of options it previously did. *There’s also a credit card processing fee when ordering online* The food is still ok but the main reason I was ordering here so often was because it was a great value in comparison to the rest of the nearby Chinese takeout places. The dinner special used to pretty much be 2 meals in one; for example, if I ordered the orange chicken, the side would be fried rice with chicken, beef, and shrimp, and the takeout container would be so full it had to be stapled shut. In addition, it would come with an egg roll and an egg drop soup since it was a dinner special. All of this would cost around $16 dollars after tax. Under the new management, what you see on the menu is exactly what you get. They don’t skimp on portions (the new portion size still lasts me about 2 meals), but it’s nowhere near the 2-3 meals you would previously get.”

“Old Lady left. New food is mid. Orange chicken is orange soup now”
“Great American Chinese food! The portions were generous, the food was fresh and flavorful, and everything came out quickly. The staff was friendly, and the restaurant was clean and welcoming. I especially enjoyed the fried rice and orange chicken. I’ll definitely be coming back!🙏”
“I was looking for some shrimp with egg noodles, and Hanna Wok did not disappoint! My wife and I also got some egg rolls and smoothies. Delicious! The owner was super friendly and the food came out quickly and at a reasonable price. We will be back!”
“2026 June 6th, about 8pm. In town for Pokémon Go Fest. 3 total of our group went to get takeout after returning to our rental. I got the dumplings and orange chicken I cant remember what the other 2 got and they left for the day, but we all sampled everything, and it was amazing. The gentleman working was very friendly, and as we waited for our food even gave us a glass of water.. and Chicago you got decent tap water. Dont think we'll be here late enough today sunday to stop in again, but when im back in town im coming here.”
“One of my favorite take-out spots! The proprietors are wonderfully kind and generous and serve awesome food. My first visit was surprising as I have dietary differences that are challenging for most restaurants: especially when it comes to Asian cuisine. When I shared the challenges the chef personally asked if I would I allow him to create modifications that would accommodate that may seem a bit abnormal. I agreed, and was blown away by how delicious the dishes were. I am willing to say that my palate prefered the changes over the standard preparation. Upon my next visit I asked for a different dish and immediately was asked "would you like for the food to be prepared as the last time: no corn, no wheat, no rice, no soy, no msg? How about the extra and garlic and ginger?" Then I was met with: "by the way, the chef would like to prepare an additional dish for you to try to see if it's something you may want to order at a different time"...it was mind-blowingly delicious I ordered from them two weeks later via Uber eats and forgot to add the modifications. The order arrived with the modifications, a free smoothie, and a smiley face on the receipt! The feeling for me when I visit is that I am not a customer, but someone they view as a part of a community. I now make it a point to order from them once a week. Now I am not going to oversell the food with a Michelin star-level praise, however, I will say that it ranks in my top 5 Chinese take-out spots in the city for flavor and quality of ingredients. The personal touches leave me with a positive bias placing it in my top 5 in Chicago for any regional cuisine!”
