“The beef has that familiar Chinese beef flavor that i'm used to, tender, juicy, a little smoky, and piping hot”
Their lunch specials are to die for and the food was delicious.
Came across Golden Wok by pure accident. Just wanted some Chinese food and this was close by.
We do pickup once a week. Last week we had our dinner at the restaurant.
Wonderful food. Fresh and good. Had the house monogolian chicken. Yum!
Apparently a take out customer has higher priority than a potentially tipping customer who intends to dine inside even if that customer arrives ahead of the take-out customer.
Got a to go sweet and sour shrimp, they didn’t put the sauce on the side so most of it ended up at the bottom of my bag by the time i got home.
I gave you two stars you all are crazy this food the orange chicken is not it’s more barbecue sauce on chicken no broccoli a normal orange chicken taste and have broccoli in it the fried rice over cooked or reheated it was not at all to be what it was and the egg rolls were refried not reheated you read it right refried this was a disappointment my son paid $50 for this meal and we live very close so we tried it so I hope you get a better cook Chinese not American Chinese it truly is a different tire of wasting money.

“Came across Golden Wok by pure accident.”
Came across Golden Wok by pure accident. Just wanted some Chinese food and this was close by. The place was nice, calm and it was pretty empty for an evening. Staff was friendly and not hovering, which I liked. They let me enjoy my food and only checked in when I needed something. I ordered the Beef lo mein. And yeah, beef lo mein is one of those dishes that usually tastes the same everywhere. The beef has that familiar Chinese beef flavor that i'm used to, tender, juicy, a little smoky, and piping hot. No toughness, no weird chew. Seasoning was on point. Portions overall were solid. The only thing I always forget until I’m halfway through is there’s just not enough beef. I keep wishing for a few more pieces. Glad I found this place. It’s right on my way home, which is super convenient. I’ll definitely be back.

“Best little spot in town.”
Best little spot in town. Fried rice is my favorite for under $10.00. We are picky eaters in our home… and we were all impressed and satisfied.

“I hate to rate the food so low, but I have been going here since I was a kid.”
I hate to rate the food so low, but I have been going here since I was a kid. There was normally a higher level of quality. Recently the General Tso and now the orange chicken were beyond slimy which is horrible to even have in your mouth. It's very disgusting to say the least. Maybe a bad chef but I would never ever eat anything that has breading on the food. I do enjoy the BBQ Pork and Beef fried rice. The egg rolls aren't as good as they used to be, but these are good. While on FB I had found out these are new owners. Oh! Well, that makes a lot of sense because I know there was a difference in the food. Such as Beef Kow having less flavor and different vegetables in the dish. With that said, these people are nice and always happy to greet you. I love that. Nothing against their loving hearts, but some dishes aren't good at all. While others are awesome (beef fried rice). I may try other dishes, but I am not happy with the poor quality that I have received today and in the past. If your chicken or shrimp has this breading (picture), I would ask for something else. Sorry, but I can't recommend anyone to eat that.

“Okay WHY did I not read the reviews first? I know better well..”
Okay WHY did I not read the reviews first? I know better well... I stopped in to place a to go order. I ordered the sesame chicken meal, veggie spring rolls and a veggies fried rice. I should have thought twice after going inside as the dining area of the restaurant is closed and it doesn't look or smell very clean. I should have left so that's my fault. I got the order home and my Mom was happy with her veggie fried rice and veggie spring rolls. My sesame "chicken" was not chicken!!!!!! What was it well after calling and speaking to the manager I was told that it's more of a chicken meatball. If I wanted meatballs I would have ordered meatballs. I've never heard of Chinese meatballs in my life. I was told this is the way they've been doing it for 40 years. Well I've been eating Chinese food for a long time and I've never had chicken meatballs covered in sauce. Didn't taste anything like the sesame chicken sauce I have had at other places. It was just bland. No flavor, no spice nothing. The rice that came with the meal was supposed to be fried rice. It was basically white rice that had soy sauce on it. There was no vegetables, no meat, no anything it was literally just white rice with soy sauce on it. The only thing I enjoyed was my egg roll. I couldn't eat any of my meal except the egg roll. I did call and I was given a credit to use next time but other than egg rolls I won't be ordering anything from this restaurant again. If a person is spending 12 dollars on sesame chicken it should be chicken not a chicken meatball. I am now sick to my stomach and still craving Chinese food because I did not get to eat my meal. Oh well ! Good luck if you decide to order from here I guess some people enjoy paying for fake chicken, white soy rice and flavorless sauce. Remember to read the reviews first!

“WORST Chinese food I’ve ever had.”
WORST Chinese food I’ve ever had. Ordered food from here on Uber eats. I ordered Mongolian beef and Shrimp egg foo yung and The Mongolian beef was EXTREMELY salty. Like inedible because of how salty it was. It was like eating spoons of salt. The egg foo yung was burnt and bland. It tasted of burnt. I am not coming here or ordering from here ever again. Save your money and go to Panda Express.

“Ordered jumbo shrimp fried rice.”
Ordered jumbo shrimp fried rice. Does that look like Jumbo shrimp fried rice? Also I didn't get napkins or a spoon or a fork or at least chop sticks. Talk about a rip off. They said they don't give you utensils or napkins unless you ask or only during lunch time. They would rather have an angry customer that can't eat their food at 6:30pm than to spend 10 cents on napkins and a plastic spoon. I am not going back food wasn't great either.
