“Great/quick service and delicious options! Staff was friendly and attentive”

“I’ve lived in hong kong for 10 years and I can confidently say this place has the best baked BBQ pork bun in Chicago. I was so pleasantly surprised the first time I had them, so I came back again for Chinese New Year with friends so we can try many more dishes. I’ll definitely come back and try their other dishes on the menu! Dim sum/ Dishes I recommend: - baked bbq pork bun 5/5, the must! - honey sauce short ribs 4.5/5 - baked creamy egg yolk bun 5/5, I think they taste better than the ones from Minghin - pan fried corn cake 4/5 - sautéd string beans with pork floss 4/5 - salt and pepper jumbo shrimp 4.5/5 - ginger and scallion chicken 4/5 Dishes that are not bad but also nothing special: - shrimp dumplings: taste the same as all other dim sum places - all dimsum with crystal wrappers: I think their wrappers are too thick and sticky, not a fan - Portuguese egg tart: chiu quon bakery is better”

“I’ve walked past this place so many times and never stopped. On Chinese New Year, I didn’t know what to eat, so I finally decided to come in and try their dim sum. I honestly didn’t expect much but I was surprised. Everything was so fresh, flavorful, and comforting. The siu mai, har gow, chicken feet, even the tea it all felt just right. I’ve had dim sum in Chinatown Chicago many times, but this place truly impressed me. Some spots there can’t even compare. This will definitely not be my last visit. Sometimes the places we walk past quietly are the ones that surprise us the most.”

“Cozy quiet atmosphere. Had egg drop soup and egg rolls no complaints. Served very hot! Their food to go I bet is fantastic.”

“Favorites at the table were: shrimp shumai, ginger pork bun, bbq pork bun, sesame balls, Dim sum comes with tea automatically (free refills in a cute teapot) Byob You can order by writing on the menu. Not a lot of interaction with servers, but they are very attentive! This is a great place to chat with friends.”

“Enjoyed a business dinner here. Dim sum was off the chain. Welcoming environment. Will return!”

“Never tried their stir fry dishes, but definitely best dim sum place in Midwest, probably in America even. I’ve never had an authentic experience with the sandy salted egg yolk buns outside of China until I tried them here. Soup dumplings were amazing, too. They were light, flavorful and like a umami bomb, with a surprising but delightful citrus hint. Cha shu turn over was surprisingly crispy. Seems these items I ordered were freshly out of the oven. 200% recommend and I’ll definitely come back whenever I visit. FYI I rarely put in reviews unless it is truly worth it.”

“I just had the BEST orange chicken of my life, and thanks to D Cuisine! My god, the food was heavenly! They were also nice enough to change one of my orders, coz I didn’t know what I was ordering lol I also had the eggplant dish, shrimp dumplings, and egg custard, which were great! It’s also right around the shops, so great to stroll around after your meal. Definitely 5/5 experience!”

“My significant other recently received some awards at her job for all her hard work, and I surprised her with dinner at D Cuisine to celebrate. General Tao is usually my go-to dish, and here it was so flavorful and perfectly sauced. One thing that really stood out about D Cuisine is their unique menu setup. They offer way more variety than you might expect, and their backside of the menu includes helpful photos and different portion sizes (small to medium).”

“Went again yesterday. Same review. Still a 4 and will be back. Loved the hot and sour soup. Food was decent. Ordered shrimp dumplings, chicken feet, Singapore noodles, turnip cake, sticky rice, mapo tofu etc. everything was ok, nothing was bad but nothing made me go wow I need to be back type either.”

“We came here to get dim sum because we’ve heard it’s good! Which did not disappoint; however the menu does not have ingredients listed so people with allergies please please please tell them if you’re allergic to something because I have shellfish allergies but due to my habit since I go to Chinese restaurants that have the listed paper for you to write down your orders have “*” to let you know that these items may have allergens. The person that took our paper never asked if we have any allergies and when some of the dishes came I ate what should just be pork dumpling, but has shrimp mixed into it. My friend that was with me asked him what dishes on our table have shrimp in them. We also got served the wrong dish that we didn’t mark by a different server, got that taken care of by flagging our server down to take it away.”
