Incredibly good Sichuan cuisine. Authentic yet modern and very very well made. Best crab rangoons I ever had. Get the dan dan noodles and the wontons.

A cozy spot focused on Sichuan noodles and dumplings. The Zhong wontons were nicely spiced and enjoyable, but the lamb and dill dumplings were a bit underwhelming - the filling felt more like a meatball than the textured meat-and-veg mix in typical dumplings. The noodles were the clear stars: both the Yibin flaming noodles and spicy beef noodles were super flavorful with satisfyingly chewy texture. Overall a solid and comforting Sichuan spot, especially if you’re in the mood for noodles.

Run don’t walk, the dumplings are so good. I had the pork xiao long bao and I wish I had ordered 3 orders of them. The beef and scallion pan fried awesome as well. Sichuan pork bao was good. Sichuan is not really my cup of tea so I wasn’t surprised to not be as excited about those. I will be back to Chengdu Bistro!!

“The Dan Dan noodles are my favorite in the city.”
The Dan Dan noodles are my favorite in the city! The pork is nice and salty and the chili oil added adds the perfect spice. The spicy cucumber salad add is loaded with flavors and adds the perfect crunch to your meal. The seshuan broiled beef is the best.

Deliciously chewy noodles with a variety of flavorful broth's. I order the Clear Broth Ground Noodle Soup with a side of their housemade numbing spice, and is was delectable! No time to snap a photo before I devoured it in its entirety(Picture below)It was that good!

absolutely amazing food, and great service. we were roadtripping across the country and this might be our no. 1 meal (and we had a lot of good food). And when I got sauce on my shirt the waitress came over with a tide pen to help me out. 10/10.

Food is sooo good! Happy to see a hand pulled noodle spot in our area. Love that they give you a choice of noodle thickness. We chose regular thickness and it was perfect. We got the scallion pancake, pork bao sichuan style, Kung Pao chicken and sichuan spicy beef noodle soup (this was our fav!! The perfect spice). Highly recommend!! Will be back!

The noodles and dumplings slapped. Would absolutely come here again for those. Wouldn’t order the boiled beef, garlic cucumber salad, and cold marinated meats appetizer again. There’s nice seating indoors, or casual seating outside in the back. Food came out really fast, was impressed by the speed.

Food is fantastic! Get the BABY BOK CHOY stir fry and the CHILI CHICKEN. Can’t go wrong with soup dumplings either. Food comes out fast and service is great.

Best soup dumplings (xiao long bao) we've found in Chicago to date! Their Sichuan beef noodles and kung pao chicken were also so tender and delicious. My wife and I just came back from Shanghai last week so we were craving some authentic Chinese food. Our only minor gripes were the Sichuan sausage was too salty and the black sesame ball dessert (tang yuan) was very sugary and not authentic. This was our first experience and it was amazing so we will definitely be back to try other dishes.
