We have been coming here since their original location on Lincoln Avenue. This place has the absolute best Mongolian beef in Chicago. You don't need to go all the way to Chinatown for great Chinese food. This is the spot.

“The food was excellent.”

The food was excellent. Nice portions, flavor was spot on. We ordered a crab rangoon for an appetizer. For entrees, we had jjajangmyeon (black bean noodles), tangsuyuk (sweet and sour pork), and beef and bell peppers. The server was extremely personable. Will be coming back soon.

Old Golden Nugget converted to this restaurant. So darn good ! Had the Hawaiin fried rice, enough for 3. None of the different dishes I've had here are too salty, they taste just right. The Hawaiin fried rice is probably our favorite, nice generous chunks of pineapple, chicken, and ham make this dish so good. Also ordered the orange beef, it's deep fried & breaded. it was our 1st time having it and it was just ok, not our favorite, but you may like it. Everything else is good. Pot stickers, veggie rolls, hot and sour soup, crab rangoon. You will definitely find something off the large menu here. Very spacious dining area, booths and tables, clean and their service is good too. Good meal for the value/ price. One of my fav go to places.

“Service was great.”

Service was great. The food was tasty and seasoned so good, we.didn’t need to add nothing. The waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu, he made suggestions after asking what we liked. I see why the Mongolian beef is popular and the combination rice is a menu highlight. General Tso chicken and veggie egg roll were decent. Overall our dinner experience was enjoyable.

This is the Chinese restaurant you have been searching for. The ambiance is great and makes it feel like you are in a land Far East. All of us ended up getting Chinese staples. I got the fried rice, a general Tso was ordered as well as egg rolls, wonton soup and a vegetable tofu platter. They just moved to the Irving Park location but at their previous location in Lincoln square they were known for their fruity and powerful cocktails. Specifically, their mai tais. But in typical Chicago fashion they are waiting on the city to approve their liquor license so until then you have to bring your own fruity powerful drinks!

My parents used to take me here when I was a toddler, and now my wife and I take our toddler here! I highly recommend the orange chicken dinner with extra orange chicken sauce and bbq fried rice. The restaurant is super family friendly and they even have a parking lot. Kim and her husband are amazing people. I am glad this place is still around and I get to share it with the next generation of my family. I hope it stays around for many years to come. This place is iconic.

“One of the best Chinese establishments around.”

One of the best Chinese establishments around. I have ordered take out and it was just as good as dining in. My favorites are the ma po tofu, salt and pepper tofu, the diced chicken that’s spicy and only served in- house. The hot and sour soup is making me drool just writing about it. Oh and beef chow fun!!

Truly amazing!!! Ordered delivery, est delivery 1 hour— arrived in 30 minutes. Packaged to go was really good, the crispy chicken separate so it didn’t get soggy is a big win for me. The food is fantastic. I got the empress Chicken and the Szechuan beef. The beef is tender and tasty, the sauces are so flavorful. Also, the delivery driver was so genuine and kind on the phone, feels like a real family business. Will order again!
