“I had a great experience here! The food was delicious and full of flavor. Everything tasted fresh and authentic.”

“Absolutely best place we've been to in all of Chicago! 💯🔥 Met the owners too. Absolutely amazing people and all dishes are sensational!”

“We had a fabulous dinner last night at Chicago Kalbi with Cummins Peru, Komat'su, and the VPs from Antimina copper mine. Such a great place, where you cook the wagyu & kobe beef at your table. The food was delicious 😋 Isao Tozuka, the chef and his wife Chiyo-san, are fabulous hosts, very friendly, and really happy to help and show you how things are do e. I would definitely recommend coming here. It's a unique place. Make sure you book though ad it can be busy.”

“Brought my sister for here for her birthday for the second year in a row. Staff is super friendly and nice. Can’t wait to be back.”

“Really prompt and attentive service, wonderful selection of meats and vegetables. The couple that owns the place are so friendly and welcoming! I will definitely be back.”

“Just for everyone’s information: it’s closed until Feb. no hour updates on Google. Don’t come now”

“I finally found a tabletop bbq place that uses actual charcoals and was very excited to try it. Kalbi and bulkogi were fairly tasty (impression of traditional taste) but value was NOT there. It definitely was not $6/piece-good. The appetizer as well seemed very overpriced at $8 for 4 drumettes (photos show that 4 years ago they gave you 5 pieces even but unsure of price). The dipping sauce was also nice and necessary as the marinade wasn’t very flavorful. Banchan was decent but refills cost extra. A little disappointing that we left hungry after spending $80. Service was excellent though.”
