This place is a Caribbean culinary gem! Everything was beyond amazing. If you thought you've had delicious jerk chicken before, you haven't tried amazing jerk chicken until you've tried TT's! Everything here was spectacular, and the chef/owner makes everyone feel at home! Can't wait to go back!

“Glad to see this place reopen in the west burbs.”

Glad to see this place reopen in the west burbs! Food still remains delicious. I got the jerk plate with rice and beans and plantains and it hit the spot. Got a patty for nostalgic reasons and it was nice and flaky and what I remember. Prices are up but that's universally applicable. I'll be back. Ok. I went back to try brown stew chicken with coconut rice and plantains. I'm not sure if it was the chicken or the rice that didn't taste right but something was definitely off. The plantains were great. I'll stick to jerk chicken.

“While stopped at the stop light, I looked to my left and spoted the Jerk Chicken sign.”

While stopped at the stop light, I looked to my left and spoted the Jerk Chicken sign! I flipped a U-turn and headed right in! I ordered Jerk Chicken dark meat a side of Rice n Peas, candied yams and of course had to go extra for the best plantains ever! Tried a side of the mild jerk sauce. Worth every penny for sure. Can't wait to try the oxtail next. Amazingly authentic and delicious! I'll drive from Bartlett again to grab my next meal soon. Thank you!

I didn’t dine in only because I was on my way to work and ordered online. Food was ready and the portions were on point. I’ve been wanting and waiting for Tropical Times Caribbean cuisine!!! I’ve never been disappointed with my meal from here!!! Curry Goat with plantains and Mac N cheese. Superb!!!!

Went to the restaurant's new location and I will be returning! Happy to have Tropical Time back! I can definitely say that my food was made with love. Still taste delicious and the portions still very fulfilling. Entrees only including two sides instead of three like previously. I wish rice n peas were atleast included with all entrees plus the two sides that we pick. There's also new menu items like brown stew chicken, jerk pasta, & jerk wraps etc.

One of the best Jerk spots....HANDS DOWN!!! I use to go all the time when they were in Maywood. Now the have a bigger and better place the food is even better. Huge portions, quality ingredients and awesome packing for carry out. The Jerk Catfish is my all time favorite. But if you love white meat then this is the place for you. Always fresh and juicy! That mac and cheese is bomb as well. This will forever be my jerk spot. Not too many places can compete!

My wife and I have been coming to Tropical Times since they were in Maywood. Andrews food is always amazing. Consistently the same Authentic Jamaican food every time and very reasonably priced. There new location is very clean and has ample dining space. Parking is also not a problem at this location.
