Food was flavorful. I got Jerky chicken mixed meat dinner which also have rise with beans, cabbage and plantain and spicy jerky sauce. You can sit inside too.

Really big portions of food - personally I had leftovers for two different meals. Chicken was made well and was juicy and the sauce that came with it was good and moderately spicy. Definitely try this place out since everything was pretty good. Just a heads up there’s quite loud music playing inside and limited seating for sit in dining.

“First time trying this place.”

First time trying this place. The food was okay, but they barely gave us any chicken when I ordered two half, all white meat chicken dinners, plus no bread or plantains. They claimed that they made our online (door dash for pick up) orders wrong, and instead of correcting and fixing the orders, they just gave us more rice and beans and one (1) "extra" cup of sauce that they charge a dollar for. First off, make the orders correctly. If it's an order for a large and you give a small, that would be fraud. Um yea no, sorry, but I'm not about to pay almost 50$ for two lunch meals just for them to be missing items or not being made correctly. It's not cool.

Curried goat was delicious, but noticeably scanty in quantity. Oxtail was of a good amount but with a sweet aftertaste; for a Caribbean jerk location, this was not at all appreciated. The most crucial reason for the 3/5 rating is that for my $25 goat + oxtail combo dinner, I was served TWO fried plantain pieces. You heard me right, two.

I did stop, but they didn’t give me the Jamaica Jerk. Jamaican me crazy, gal! Nah, but in all honesty, I ain’t never been there. So I can’t tell you if they give you the Jamaican jerk or not. But their food is probably good.

Swung by One Stop Jamaica Jerk on 79th and grabbed the jerk chicken dark meat dinner. That chicken was juicy with just the right amount of heat. Sides of red beans & rice and cabbage were on point, and the plantains added a sweet touch. Washed it down with a Jamaican soda, bringing the total to about $25. Portions were generous, and the flavors hit home. Definitely a solid spot for authentic jerk on the South Side.

I got a jerk chicken dinner mixed with cabbage, yams and mac n cheese... all the food was hot and fresh sp delicious.... omg 1 of the best jerk chicken spots on the Eastside only thing disappointing was no plantains like the guy say would come with my dinner 😱
