We were in the area and happened to stop by here completely by chance. The place is okay. Unlike other spots where you already have “pre-assembled” ingredients for a poke bowl and just choose which one you want (so-called signature bowls), here you have to build it yourself. The poke was fine. The ingredients are fresh, and since I picked what I like, of course I enjoyed it. The place feels cozy and interesting, with lots of plants inside. My only complaint is that the low white tables are very close together, so you literally can’t move. They need to be spaced out a bit.

We loved all the tropical plant life at Poke Okie Cafe It really set a relaxing mood. I got the 3-scoop poke bowl, it was thoroughly delicious! My hubby got the roasted duck rice bowl, good but very dry. We both got a Hawaiian sunshine smoothie- Big Mistake! No, seriously. They were amazing, but very filling. I love how colorful and vibrant the restaurant is! Lush with greenery and fun seating options. I love their poke bowls. I see now that they have other things on their menu. I'll definitely have to come back and try some more.

Poke bowls as tasty as they are beautiful. Sizeable portions with tons of fish. We were really impressed by the atmosphere, options, and the real bowls and silverware. Great addition to this side of Milwaukee.

I believe this place is a sister location to The Sipping Turtle, that being said the food is so good. I love the freshness of the ingredients, it truly is fully customizable. Only thing I wouldn’t recommend is their smoothies, I just don’t think they have a lot of flavor (super bland smoothies, taste like a lot of ice)

Super good sushi bowl (poke bowl) spot, hidden in the Logan square/Avondale area. The fish and all of the ingredients are very high quality. As you can see from the photos they give you a fairly large portion of each ingredient. The environment of the restaurant itself is pretty cool. Kinda a jungle beach side cafe vibe. It would be a great place to study and relax. Definitely a great spot for a solo snack or for largish groups.
