We visited for our anniversary today and they did not disappoint 😊 We arrived at 12pm and had to wait about 10 minutes. It was packed. The food was delicious! My husband and I ordered the mega French toast flight, jerk chicken Alfredo omelette, spinach omelette and side of bacon. Our drinks were orange juice and Irish coffee. The coffee was STRONG Lol I told my server I couldn’t handle it and asked for a regular coffee. He switched it out with no problem. Our server was great, kept checking on us. The atmosphere was chill. The music was good and because of the amount of people it was loud. It was smaller than expected but I really enjoyed the coziness. Parking was a headache, we ended up paying for parking in the building across the street. We will come back when it’s warmer outside.

“I love this place so much.”

I love this place so much! Lauren K was our server and it was our first time there. She was soo personable and patient, she explained the menu in detail and really took the time to talk about the dishes & drinks. I really liked their espresso martinis. I drink these often at many restaurants throughout the city and I can confidently say their espresso martini is in my top 3. I randomly stopped by after running the 5k turkey trot but will definitely be adding this one to my list of recommendations I give to friends who vacation in Chicago.

Came in last Saturday 9/13/25 for brunch and everything was delicious. The ribeye omelet was perfect and the mimosa flight hit the spot. So...I came in again today 9/20/25. And once again yall did not disappoint. I asked for the same server from last week and Sarah was just as nice and attentive as last time. The chicken and waffles were delicious but that espresso martini was "Everything"

“Stopped for a quick breakfast.”

Stopped for a quick breakfast. The food was delicious, the service was great, and the spot itself is very charming. Unfortunately, we had to cut our visit short. The open street-facing front combined with maple syrup bottles on each table attracted bees, which made it hard to enjoy. Also, gratuity is automatically added to the bill, which I didn’t appreciate (especially when they don't say anything).

“The food here is definitely a rave.”

The food here is definitely a rave! Everything was freshly cut and cooked, amazing flavors and the music in here is definitely a vibe, r&b throwbacks! Didnt know if I should eat or sing 😆 They have outdoor seating as well and pretty spacious..loved the decor and service was phenomenal.

“I absolutely enjoyed my brunch here while in town.”

I absolutely enjoyed my brunch here while in town. The overall esthetics and vibe of the restaurant was unmatched. The service was great, as well as the food and drinks. You get a lot of food for your money. I had the French toast with lemon, poppy seeds, and glazed walnuts. This plate was chef’s kiss. I also tried the truffle fries as an appetizer that I didn’t really care for. My only complaint is that the restaurant seems cramped as though there are too many tables. There’s barely any walk room. It reminds me of walking the aisle on an airplane to get to your seat, and if you’ve experienced that, then you know exactly what I mean. The restroom was very clean, which I greatly appreciated. I would recommend this location and would visit again when I’m back in Chicago.
