“Excellent breakfast.”

Excellent breakfast! A short wait but Angie, our server, was attentive in every way and kept my cup of coffee full at all times! I had the outstanding Margherita omelette that was prepared just right. Decorated very charmingly for Halloween. Exactly what you want seeking breakfast in a city like Chicago! Next time I am in town I will be back.

Was in Chicago for a small video game convention. Several attendees said Sunny Side Up was delicious! We had to check it out for ourselves. The food did not disappoint. I honestly can't remember what we had, it was great, but the food wasn't the best part....a restaurant isn't just about the food, it's an experience no matter if its with friends, family, business associates or others. Your experience can make or break your meal. Our experience was the best we've had in a long time. Our server Angie was AMAZING!! She was not only knowledgeable about the menu, she shared info about the city and what was going on nearby. She was hilarious, sassy (in a good way), and also kind hearted. She MADE our experience there! I hope others can experience what we did. By the end of our visit we were all laughing so hard, we were crying. Go for the food, stay for Angie, She is the best!!

I can't rave enough about this restaurant and the service! Martín was THE BEST server we had on this trip, and he took extra care of us. He was knowledgeable of the menu and made sure I was able to eat the oatmeal (water vs. milk) because I live a vegan lifestyle. Side note, the oatmeal is made with water. They also have oatmilk. Lastly, it was a small detail, but they were playing K-Love, and they automatically add gratuity to each check to ensure their servers are well taken care of! Hands down, this restaurant is doing an overall phenomenal job.

5-Star Review for Sunny Side Up Restaurant I had an amazing experience at Sunny Side Up! I ordered the avocado Benedict eggs, and they were absolutely perfect. The eggs were cooked just right, the avocado was fresh and creamy, and the whole dish was packed with flavor. You could really tell the ingredients were high quality and made with care. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, and the staff was friendly and attentive. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to come back again and again. If you’re a fan of brunch or just love great food, Sunny Side Up is a must-try!
