The only negative thing I have to complain about is the schedule. I came into the door with my mind set on ordering 'smothered pork chops' and mashed potatoes. However!! A regular patron was enjoying a full platter of French toast and a skillet. Immediately from first sight, smell and even sound my order was changed to "I'll have what he's having"! Personally ordering breakfast, others in my party did have lunch/dinner options, I was able to partake.

Service was good. Food was fresh and hot and came out rather fast. Dinning room floors were partially cleaned and smoke detector was beeping. You must order at counter then have a seat.

Smh what can I say food was okay very disappointed how it was presented, I got a steak skillet told them to put the eggs on the side, they put them in a cup. I also got the shrimp & grits which was totally unacceptable for the price and didn’t taste like nothing but butter. The waffle was a waste of money and they have the nerve to only accept cashapp or zelle. Was my first and last time going to this restaurant. Jus look at the picture totally unacceptable for a restaurant

I’m not sure who they had in the kitchen today but send them home !!! I had scraps for potatoes and they didn’t taste cooked through & why is there onion or garlic powder in my egggs ??!!! I really want to rate this a zero 😒 because the French toast wasn’t even good enough to finish I am disgusted no lie.!

Would never dine in this establishment again. The pictures on the menu are very deceiving! The shrimp and grits I couldn’t believe it. It was literally grits with butter and sautéed shrimp on top. No seasoning just parsley and butter. Couldn’t believe it. The steak skillet was a no. The steak meat was ground so small you would think it was ground beef. I didn’t like the flavor, the cheese was not melted which told me it isn’t fresh. I asked for my eggs on the side and the put them in a drinking cup. Not only did they come in a cup they were super runny. Waffle was good but very thin to be a Belgian waffle.

Skidoe Cafe & Grill never disappoints! The food is always delicious. I usually order through DoorDash, but when it was down today I looked them up and called in instead—and I’m glad I did. The French Toast Deluxe plate is a favorite for the kids, and I always get the breakfast skillet with grits and bacon. Consistently great food and highly recommended!
