My favorite place to go get a special treat in all of Chicago. Pretty much everything is delicious, I love the hot dog breads, curry buns, and the mango pandan matcha is really incredible, the best flavoured matcha drink I have had. It’s also really close to the red, orange and green lines, so it’s easy to get to from anywhere in the city! I’d easily recommend this place to anyone who loves baked goods, matcha, and nice places to sit/work/snack.

This time I grabbed an iced coffe on a hot hot chicago day. Swing by the south loop if you need a new (authentic) asian bakery. Mmmmmmmmmmmm!

Fluffy buns with fun baked in. From hot dog and cheese to standard pastries. The buns are incredible. Fluffy, mild sweetness-this is what bialys were probably like before they became grandparents. Drinks were also standard or special. The black sesame matcha latte tasted like you are drinking a bun. Small dining room with eclectic crowd. While on the Roosevelt train stop, it also serves the condos around it. Short walk from Grant Park

Delicious Taiwanese baked goods and a huge selection from sweet to savory. I wish I had come here sooner, there’s so many pastries I still want to try! The Ube Red Bean bun was just so good! The coffee & tea here are great too. On a sunny day I recommend taking some treats and a drink to go and enjoying them on a short walk to the waterfront.

Stumbled upon this gem on a Sunday morning. Warm atmosphere with extended seating in the back. The selection of baked goods was an assortment of sweet and savory. The specialty matchas were high quality - I especially loved the black sesame matcha and rose almond matcha.
