The crème brûlée is to die for and the Dubai chocolate is outstanding. The awesome thing about this place is all the desserts are made in the kitchen adjacent to the shop. Nicolas was wonderful in sharing details on the process.

I have a close friend in Paris, so when I saw the miniature Eiffel Tower outside I had to stop. The atmosphere is very nice and Jimmy was extremely accommodating. He recommended a raspberry holiday pastry and it was delightful. I also tried a hot latte with wild blueberry and it was well balanced. Jimmy was nice enough to show me the baking area and explained how they made everything fresh on site. If you want a taste of Paris in Chicago, I definitely recommend Le French Patisserie.

This cute little spot is a must go to if you like pastries. You’re in for a treat if Jimmy is there. He was super nice, very informative with this being my first time there and his recommendations were delicious!! I will definitely be back. He even gave my boyfriend and I some good tips for leaving for the airport as it was starting to snow as we were there. Thanks Jimmy!!!

Stopped and really liked it here. The place feels clean, bright and inviting. The pastries were fresh and tasted as good as they looked. Staff was kind and the service was quick, which I appreciated. It’s a nice spot to relax for a bit and enjoy something sweet. I’d come back for sure.

This place has the cutest little French pastries and desserts, which are definitely their speciality. But!! Stay with me: you should definitely try the spinach pie and the bougatsa. They are the only Greek pastries I can find in the neighborhood that are genuinely authentic and delicious. It’s only a few steps from Navy Pier. Definitely worth a visit (or many visits, if you’re me).

I recently visited this coffee shop and had a great experience. The place is very clean and has a comfortable atmosphere that makes you want to stay and relax. The coffee is excellent. Rich, smooth, and clearly made with care. The staff are incredibly helpful, polite, and kind, which makes the visit even more enjoyable. They also offer a nice selection of snacks that pair perfectly with their drinks. Overall, it’s a great spot to grab a coffee. Highly recommended!

The location alone sets the tone—warm, inviting, and perfect for a relaxed outing with loved ones. From the moment we stepped inside, the atmosphere felt both cozy and authentically Parisian, striking the perfect balance between elegance and comfort. The pastries were nothing short of exceptional. The crème brûlée was beautifully crafted with a perfectly caramelized top that gave way to a smooth, rich custard—easily one of the best I’ve had. The French choux pastries were equally impressive, light and airy with just the right amount of sweetness. Every bite reflected genuine craftsmanship and attention to detail. What truly elevated the experience, though, was the customer service. We were served by Jon, whose kindness and professionalism left a lasting impression. He was patient, personable, and incredibly welcoming—especially toward my kids, which made the visit even more memorable. It’s rare to find a patisserie where the quality of service matches the quality of the pastries, but Le French Patisserie delivers both seamlessly. Overall, this is a place where excellent food, thoughtful service, and a lovely neighborhood setting come together perfectly. Highly recommended for families, pastry lovers, or anyone looking to enjoy a bit of French comfort in the heart of Chicago.
