“Aztlan Mexican Grill is a hidden gem! Hands down, they have the best tacos I’ve ever had. My husband and I ordered Asada tacos, and we tried them on both flour and corn tortillas. Both were out of this world, but the flour tortillas literally melted in your mouth, while the corn tortillas were so fresh, you could taste the authenticity in every bite. The rice and beans were homemade perfection—exactly how comfort food should taste. The service? Absolutely top-notch. The staff made us feel like family, and they were so warm and attentive from start to finish. We also couldn’t get enough of the chips and salsa—fresh, flavorful, and just the right amount of spice. With great prices and portions, Aztlan Mexican Grill has officially become our go-to spot for Mexican food. Next time, I’m definitely trying the fajitas—I can’t wait! “This place is a small local restaurant. The food had reasonable prices and plenty of seats! I planned to only eat half my pollo torta (chicken sandwich) at the restaurant, but I ended up enjoying the entire torta! It was seasoned just right and the green spicy sauce made the taste even better. They also provide some homemade tortilla chips. The quesadilla was also super flavorful. Very kind, attentive service too. Lots of people seem to order to-go and come pick up locally. Will be back for more!”
“All right, we got a fun one again just came across this restaurant googling it on my old neighborhood used to live on this neighborhood about 30 years ago And I gotta say this place is hidden But they good some real good tacos for the low , Not to mention the cook cooked the meat well done, which this is a plus All I gotta say that spots like this you can’t go wrong . “I love this place. I have only ever order delivery online but finally got the chance to eat in. It’s a small and casual place where you order at the counter. The woman taking orders as well as the chef were so friendly. We got the asada burrito which is my go to when I have ordered online and it still does not disappoint. It’s actually my favorite burrito in Chicago. The meat is perfectly charred and flavorful. The provided sauces are also amazing. And the horchata is excellent. Highly recommend! Go support these folks.”

“The best burrito in Chicago…this place is family operated, it’s got that no frills feel, and the food is unreal. I’m not sure what’s more charming, the Mexican soap operas on the tv, or the menu with new prices taped over the old ones. Whatever they’re charging, I’ll gladly pay. Again, the best burrito in Chicago. I’ve been coming for years and I’ll never stop.”
“Freshest ingredients I've eaten since I came back from my trip from Central America over two months ago—seriously. Everything from the tacos to the sauces (ajíes) were super fresh, delicious, and very tasty. Oh, and the portion sizes are very generous! I ordered three different tacos, a large horchata, and a large jamaica. All three tacos were nice and pump, and the drinks were very fresh and very good as well. The drinks were also sweetened perfectly—not too sweet, and not too plain. The only thing you might want to consider is that the large cup sizes are huge hahaha. I'm not complaining. I'm just saying: be prepared to get your money's worth here. This place has for sure won my vote. Thank you for the amazing and delicious food! 😋 P.S. did I mention how fresh everything was?!”
