A top spot to eat - food, service and atmosphere - about a 20 min drive from the Mag Mile. The food is authentically Greek with their own added special touch. So their Greek salad has many additional ingredients that only elevate it. The service was top notch and very attentive. They were very accommodating when we swapped out the one dish we didn’t love for one that we did. The barbounia fried fish was as fresh as it gets and fall-off-the-bone delicious. Taromasalata is highly recommended to be scooped up with their amazing village bread. The menu is not extensive but they do everything well. Prices are very reasonable for the quality that they deliver. Great spot to take your family or a group of friends - four at least as this is a place to share small plates (and the more the merrier).

Five stars doesn’t feel high enough. [Not written using AI.] We are sitting in ANDROS TAVERNA during a six-hour layover in Chicago, feeling like we discovered some priceless ancient treasure, and think you’ll want to experience this yourself. Full disclosure: my wife loves Greek food and I like it, at best, but when I let her choose dinner, it was Greek. (Ugh) From excellent online reviews and two personal recommendations, we discovered ANDROS TAVERNA, and from the moment we walked in, it was obvious this was something special. In fact, we took a 50-minute train ride from the airport just to try it — and as soon as we finish here, we’ll head right back to catch our flight to Los Angeles. That should tell you how worth it this place is. It started with an unbelievably fresh complimentary appetizer that immediately told us this restaurant cares about details. Then we ordered (and shared) the crispy kataifi cheese pie along with the mezze collection with pork and chicken, cooked absolutely perfectly. For the next 40 minutes, it felt like every few bites one of us would stop to say, “Okay… THIS is incredible.” We’ve just finished dessert — Greek donuts — and finished with a decaf French press for my wife and a cappuccino for me, and somehow even those were perfect. That pretty much sums it up the food. The service deserves its own paragraph. The servers work together like a true team instead of “your server disappearing for 20 minutes.” Everyone seemed attentive and genuinely happy to help. And the restaurant itself? Absolutely beautiful, with high ceilings and lots of greenery and wood. I might say contemporary, but that would belittle the old school charm. I’m including a picture. If you’ve read this far, you probably think I’m related to the owner or something, but I’m not. First visit, just genuinely blown away. It can get crowded, so make allowance for that. And I believe they just started opening for lunch. This may honestly be one of the best layover decisions we’ve ever made. Hats off to ANDROS TAVERNA.

We went to Andros Taverna for Valentine's Day. The atmosphere was amazing, had knowledgeable staff, and the Halloumi sandwich entree was incredible. I highly recommend!

Wonderful atmosphere with lots of seating options. Breakfast was delicious with many variations of traditional breakfasts and others with Mediterranean twists. All were exquisite.

Andros Taverna serves up a tasty Greek fare in Logan Square! Having tried Mano o Mano and Bastian Asador, I am pleased to vouched that my experience at all three of the restaurants of the Eat Well hospitality group were excellent. Andros Taverna in particular is supported by a strong culinary and wait staff. From the moment upon entry to leaving, I felt welcomed, taken care of and in great hands by David and his staff. Our server, T, was the most friendly and upbeat waitress! Andros also offers a variety of dining from baked goods, brunch, to full service dinner. I particularly loved their Olympia brunch dish with a hearty serving of lamb meat, sunny side up egg (they use eggs with orange yolk!) and fresh hand cut potato fries. I love their on the vein cherry tomato appetizer with olive oil, sea salt and house made seasoning is a healthy alternative than bread service at other restaurants. I love the small details and their testament to quality food. Can't wait to return for their dinner service next!

Andros taverna brings me happiness. The food is presented brilliantly. The lamb and ceviche were amongst my favorites! The mezze platter is slightly lacking.

A warm atmosphere and friendly service. The ostrich was delicious, tender, flavorful, and perfectly presented. The chicken was good, but it was a bit dry for my taste. Overall, the food was enjoyable, and I had a great dining experience. I would definitely come back to try more dishes!

This is my second time at the restaurant. We came here years ago when they first opened for brunch. The food was good then and it's is still good. The zucchini chip were the best zucchini chips I have had. The grilled calamari was a bit chewy and I have had better at other places. The beef stew was good, a bit salty for me but overall good. The beef was very tender and flavorful. The portion is on the smaller side. The lamb ribs were very tasty. Not too fatty would order again. Now for the not so good. I am guessing it was just an off day. The service was pleasant and the server was good when he was around. But he was not around very often. Service was just slow. We always had to find the waiter. Not sure why because they were not that busy. He was very nice and helpful when he was around. Then we get to dessert. Order a French press coffee. Big mistake. Got warm brown water. No flavor and my guess, not enough grounds. Barely taste of coffee. I returned it. And ordered what I thought was an Apple Galaktoboureko, at least that's what I thought I ordered. Still not sure what happened. Asked for another dessert menu and that one had another apple dessert that was not Galaktoboureko. Both me and my wife remember it being a Galaktobourek. Either way it was not what we expected. The waiter and manager were very kind and brought us another dessert that was more similar to what I had thought I ordered and comped us the desserts. Even with a different name the description of the other apple dessert was still supposed to have a semelina custard, which it did not. It was just a strange evening. I do advise that someone check all the menus as the mess with the dessert really took away from the evening. I was really looking forward to the dessert. Galaktoboureko is my favorite Greek pastry and along with the really bad coffee ruined the evening.

I was in the area to go to another event close by. After checking in, I walked back to Andros for a drink. What brought me back was the atmosphere, Andros is a pretty and warm place, with a full bar and expresso set up. The music was good too, and great background music. Along with my drink, I ended up having a pita, and the eggplant spread, which was served with crisp vegetables.

I’ve been wanting to check out Andros Taverna for a while, and I’m glad I finally did. They serve delicious Greek food in Logan Square. We arrived about 20 minutes early for our reservation and sat at the bar for happy hour. The happy hour drinks and oysters were great, but the service was painfully slow. At one point, a bartender ignored us to serve a group that arrived after us, which felt odd. That said, they still honored the happy hour pricing. Once we were seated, the food was excellent and really stood out. Unfortunately, our waitress was condescending, cold, and difficult to find, which was disappointing. For me, service is a big part of the dining experience, and it definitely impacted the night. The food and atmosphere are excellent, but it’s unfortunate how much a rude server can detract from an otherwise great experience.
