I highly recommend the oysters they were fresh and delicious. I also really enjoyed the chicken entrée. The atmosphere was beautiful and made for a great dining experience overall.”
“Fabulous experience. Drinks were great. We had a side of mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese which were well cooked. I had the 22 oz ribeye which was fantastic. The chocolate cake for dessert was delictable. Bella was an excellent server. The staff in general was wonderful very attentive and welcoming. I highly recommend Trino's. If I ever find myself back in Chicago I will definitely return!”
“WOW! SUPERB! Was in town with friends, looked at quite a few restaurants before choosing Trino. SO GLAD we did. Amazing service, friendly staff. Ordered the 10oz Filet Wagyu, it was FANTASTIC. Ordered medium rare, they nailed it, with an excellent crisp sear on the exterior. Pair it with their house special peppercorn sauce and salt, WOW. Forget anything on Michigan ave, this place is where it’s at. Chef personally came out to ask how the steaks were. Will return!”

“100% recommend! Amazing food, chic atmosphere, and truly thoughtful service! (Valet was also a huge plus on a busy Thursday night off Randolph) Went to Trino (as walkins) to celebrate my partner promotion at work and were asked at the door if we were celebrating anything. To our surprise the host mentioned our celebration to our server (Danny), who made the night so special for my partner! On top of the spectacular service, we received some of the best food we have had in a while. The ceaser was one to remember (based on the original recipe from Tijuana) with fresh mint and dill - a definite must order. Additionally we ordered the bone in NY steak (with chimichurri), the lobster with Guajillo brandy cream sauce, and the tres queso Mac and cheese. Even dessert was unique and memorable, as we ordered the tres leches tiramisu. Everything was exceptional. Will definitely be back! Thank you Trino, and DANNY, for making this a special memory for us ! EDIT: Have come back twice since and every experience has been better and better ! Make sure to check out Laberinto after your meal. Thank you to Pam, the kitchen staff, and the entire TRINO team for making both of my friend’s birthdays so special today! “I recently visited Trino Chicago with my best friend, and we made an early reservation during happy hour. We ordered the oysters twice because they were that good, along with the Caesar salad, fries, mac and cheese, beet salad, pasta, wagyu tartare, and Hawaiian dinner rolls. When we ordered dessert we were gifted a second desert and complimentary champagne! What a wonderful touch. Honestly, it felt like we tried the entire happy hour menu, and it was easily one of the best meals I’ve had so far in 2026. We were celebrating my birthday, and I truly loved everything about this restaurant. The service was warm and attentive, and nearly everyone wished me a happy birthday, which made the evening feel extra special. Between the wine, the atmosphere, the service, and the food, I would absolutely recommend Trino to anyone looking for a quiet yet sophisticated place for a beautiful dinner.”

“Incredible: food, wine list, service, vibe. I had an amazing dinner seated at the bar. Ordered the oysters (mind blown!) and the lamb empanadas. A nice spice level to both, which I loved. Paired with a gorgeous Champagne-style sparkling made in MX, and a beautiful Willamette Valley Pinot Noir (Et Fille Wines). After dinner, ask to go to the speakeasy downstairs for a nightcap! Will definitely be back on my next trip to Chicago.”
