The Wolfhound Bar and Kitchen — Roscoe Village american where the Pizza sets the tone. Expect noise, energy, and a full house. Solid drinks, with the bar pulling its weight. Joey McGlumphy: "The Irish breakfast was one of the best dishes I’ve had in Chicago in a long time"

“The grilled cheese sandwich was EVERYTHING you want in a sandwich, and the tomato soup paired perfectly”
We waiting 20 minutes for our draft beer even though we were the only ones at the bar.
Came here because 1) close to my home 2) semi affordable and 3) the reviews appeared to be raving.

“The Wolfhound Bar & Kitchen is truly one of Chicago’s hidden gems.”
The Wolfhound Bar & Kitchen is truly one of Chicago’s hidden gems. Every time I’ve come here, the food and drinks have been spot-on — fresh, flavorful, and served with care. The atmosphere is perfect for both friends and family — warm, lively, and welcoming, with great music, friendly staff, and a vibe that instantly makes you feel at home. Whether you’re coming for dinner, trivia night, or just to unwind with a drink, this place never disappoints. I’ve been here quite a few times, and each visit reminds me why I keep coming back. Highly recommend!

“I really enjoyed this Pub.”
I really enjoyed this Pub. I had excellent food. The chicken sandwiches were huge. The homemade chicken noodle soup was amazing with the brussel sprouts on the side and the service was delivered with a smile and kindness. I'll be back.

“There are many reasons to come here: They offer two versions of an Irish breakfast (full and half), which are solid.”
There are many reasons to come here: They offer two versions of an Irish breakfast (full and half), which are solid. There are Irish beers (as well as excellent Chicago brews) on tap and Irish sports on the telly. And their homemade scones are outstanding, maybe the best authentic British scones in the city (and it sure doesn’t hurt that they come three to an order).

“Super cute place.”
Super cute place. Everyone was so friendly there, and they thanked my friend and I for coming to check them out for restaurant week. Everything we ate was soo delicious. I definitely want to come back to try the sandwiches as well. The sausage rolls were perfect, and so were the scones. The veggie quiche had a lovely crispy crust. The chicken and waffles with the togarashi maple honey was by far the best I have ever eaten with the perfect amount of spice that was definitely a pleasant surprise. Do not even get me started on the Banana Foster French toast. Let's just I wanted to go home for a nap since I ate it all. The trinity cupcake to finish it off. My only regret was not making my coffee an Irish one. I will be returning soon.

“Had such an amazing time at Wolfhound.”
Had such an amazing time at Wolfhound. The food was outstanding, the mini sausage rolls and fried chicken sandwich were outstanding. (I don't think I've ever had better) The drinks were great, Samir who was bar tending was great, very friendly and made a marvelous, not oversweet Old Fashioned. If you're in the area don't miss out. A truly welcoming Irish bar, without the leprechaunish gimmicks.

The food here is top notch and the $5 drafts and $10 sandwich/entree and side lunch special is unbeatable. Guinness and Magners on tap, along with traditional Irish music on Tuesday nights. They also now have delicious scones.

“Casual spot with great drinks and food and good service.”
Casual spot with great drinks and food and good service. Went last night for dinner. The bartender recommended a drink she created. I was reluctant to try it but she assured me if I didn't like it, she'd make me something else. It was a pumpkin and rum drink. I don't even like pumpkin but the drink was delicious. I even had a second. So good!

“OMG-The Grilled Cheese.”
OMG-The Grilled Cheese! 😋😋😋 Walked into Wolffang around 5 pm. I was greeted by the staff immediately, which was super nice. I ordered the spinach Artichoke Dip and grilled cheese sandwich. The grilled cheese sandwich was EVERYTHING you want in a sandwich, and the tomato soup paired perfectly. The spinach Artichoke Dip was also delicious. Brian was my server and was very friendly and welcoming. Chef Tim also came out and asked how I liked my meal. Everyone really cared about the service and everyone was pleasant with a smile. Even if the food was horrible, I'd be back here just because of the customer service.

Love this place! Lovely bar with great, friendly staff. Cool activities throughout the week. Chicken sandwiche was delightful! Great ciders as well, if you aren't a beer drinker.

It was a dreary Sunday morning. I was craving an Irish Breakfast. We met the Bartender at the door. He brewed us some fresh coffee and we ordered. It was all delicious so glad we went.
