“Had an amazing time here.”

Had an amazing time here. Initially I was just going on a walk in the neighborhood, no real destination in mind. Saw they had Uber eats delivery stickers outside so I wanted to pop in to see what's up. It was a Monday so they had improv open mic night for comedy and it also happened to be happy hour. I'm a sucker for chicken wings and they were another pleasant surprise in the neighborhood. I had to try the buffalo sauce since that's my go-to to see how bar wings stand up and also the caribbean jerk because that peaked my interest. Price was amazing, service was top tier, and another worker there really stood out for letting me try their rocky sauce as well as pepper sauce for wings. The buffalo on its own is good but if you get it with the pepper sauce making it the 'Rocky' sauce that would be my spicy recommendation. The caribbean jerk had a great balance of sweet with heat. I'll have to become a regular here while the weather is still good enough for walking over. The stand up open mic was a fun time. I liked how it was comedians working on polishing their act(s) so it was a chance to see greatness in progress. 5/5 would go back again and it's a fun bar with plenty of beer and drink options. I think Tuesday is trivia night for those interested. I can't wait to try more of their sauces as well as the Philly Cheesesteak I saw from others photos.

I saw a video for Monti's on YouTube about their Cheesesteaks and I had to try one. They have several different types and I had the South Side Johnny, which has mushrooms, onions, I chose Provolone and it was topped with horseradish sauce. Served on some really great bread.

Amazing place to eat if you go to Chicago....I found this place on DoorDash but I knew I needed to visit in person when I saw the food. I'm glad I went inside. We met Joe he was a sweetheart. Beautiful personality. He made us some drinks at the bar they were good. The cheesesteaks were packed with meat and flavor. Fries were good with the cheese and bacon but I normally ask for shredded cheese. We got an order of the garlic Parmesan wings. I like dry Garlic Parmesan these were wet. Not a problem because the place was very clean. The service was awesome. Parking can be troublesome but we found a spot. This place makes for a wonderful hidden gem. Thank you Joe and cooks for taking care of us. That sandwich was so big I had to take it to go to finish it.

“Wife and I went here after our concert.”

Wife and I went here after our concert. We were desperately trying to find a place to eat because we did not eat much all day and lots of places (surprisingly) were closed or closing within the next 15 or so minutes. We stumbled upon Monti's after driving around awhile and boy, are we glad we stopped by. Our waitress was awesome, accommodating and the food was phenomenal. We tried the garlic parmesan wings, and even though my wife usually doesn’t go for bone-in, she absolutely tore into these. They were hot, crispy, and the sauce was incredible—so that alone should tell you something. Photos and videos really don’t do them justice. For our mains, we went with the ‘Rocky’ cheesesteak and the OG regular cheesesteak, both with fries. The fries were seasoned perfectly, and both sandwiches were seriously good.

BEST PHILLY IN CHICAGO HANDS DOWN. it's definitely the bread-the Philly was so freaking yummy! The staff were nice and it was super clean. I really had a great time. Yummy delicious food. It's pricey but you get a lot of food. Wait time was good and the seating time was great.

Super authentic cheesesteaks in Chicago. White American and whiz on mine. Amoroso’s rolls are delicious and freshly shipped. The staff is super welcoming and friendly.
