“The first time coming here the food was great.”

The first time coming here the food was great. We were able to call in the order and it was ready on time. That made us want to come back the second time but on that go around we called couldn't get an answer, made it to the establishment just to be told it would be a 45 min wait for ribs. We didn't wait so we decided to leave. The third time was the next day I went early in the morning before they opened. I called at 1:00pm right at the time they're open for business although the gate wasn't open at that time no answer as soon as the doors were open. I got in first person in line . To my surprise the young lady was taking call in orders yet I called twice and got no answer and left me waiting until she got through. I still end up waiting 50 minutes for my food. 4 call in orders were made before mmine. People that walked in and ordered after me got their food before me. I couldn't understand that considering the fact that I was the very first person in the door. I got 2 large rib tips and the Obama Philly. The two orders of ribs I bought for two other people, they said "the ribs were tuff" I had the Obama and it was very good. Overall the people working there are friendly. The food was hit and miss and the service could use some improvement.

Ok.... tender, some had more smokey flavor then others. Also large will disappoint so ask to see it before you buy it. I purchase a XL or bucket for more then the 20 bucks they charge for an XL it's definitely worth it. The sauce which I only tried the mild is amazing the fries OMG old school thick soft soaked in rib grease flavor drown them and mild sauce and you will be in heaven. I did the jerk egg roll and jerk chicken tips ( 2 years ago) wasn't a fan but the ribs are AMAZING. 10 OUTTA 10 PEOPLE.. IF YOU LIKE JOES AND BENS PLEASE GO HERE ON YO NEXT RIB CRAVING YOU WONT REGRET IT I PROMISE

“First time going.”

First time going. Got mini jerk ribs, I didn’t get jerk from the ribs, Tasted like a regular rib to me but they were tender and the sauce was good. Got a steak taco as well which was okay with a lil spice kick to it. And also a Obama egg roll which I believe is one of the popular items on the menu. Now the egg roll was a hit , it’s filled with steak, chicken, and peppers. I didn’t open the egg roll to get a picture cause it was gone 😂, but you will like the egg rolls. I might go back and try the chicken and a philly. But if not it will be for egg roll. And the place is just standing area or you can wait in your car, but it was clean.

Definitely see an upgrade of some sort. Haven’t been here in over 4 months because of prior experiences with poor customer service & the food not settling with my body. However, I just had the tacos yesterday & everything was delicious. Even the wait that normally takes over 40 mins has changed. We waited 10-15 mins for the food. Will be back, hopefully this experience will stay the same.

“Here's an update.”

Here's an update. Called cause I'm coming from Willowbrook, Just to be informed that they are not taking phine orders. Drive 30 mins and there is a 45 min wait. Ordered chkn tips and 2 xl ribs Chkn tips was like a tender chopped with sauce on it. My rib tips were tough, and not pippin hot after that 45 min wait, and not even flavorful at all. Im disappointed. I used to be crazy about Jays. They started out as a great restaurant but now not so.

I ordered the $23 XL rib tips. They charge for sauce on the side so I opted for plain. BIG MISTAKE! The tips were supposed to be jerked. They were not seasoned and very plain without sauce. However, the tips were tender. See picture for portion size.
