Man this place is the environment you want. Everything you need, everything you want at your fingertips. Mark , our bartender, been here for 9 years + and he’s truly exceptional. Simply superb. He entertained us and took care of us every single moment. Great patience and amazing customer service, I’d recommend this place to any Chicagoan or tourist. Hands down , gotta be here to experience it! S/o to Ciera especially! She literally has the most patience in the world and she will always treat you with a smile, that’s all you want. So happy I met both Mark and Ciera , thankful for them

“This was my first time returning in years.”

This was my first time returning in years. Parking has always been impossible. I returned and was pleasantly surprised. Our server Kate S, was attentive to our needs. She made our stay enjoyable. The cook made our meal presentation desirable. I will return based on our dining experience and well preparedness of our food entrées!

Only had appetizers but they were so delicious and the spiked iced tea.....I can't wait to go back for more. Best spinach dip I've have. Hot wings on point. Definitely will go back and the staff was so friendly.

The Fireplace Inn is spectacular!!!! The service and staff are very professional and courteous. The food is delicious!!!! The atmosphere with the bar and the Lincoln Park/Old Town appeal is mesmerizing. It is a definite "go-to" for the summer!!! Big Kudos!!!!!!

One of the happening places in the heart of Old Town - Gold Coast of Chicago. Great ambiance and music. Service is fast, the waitress was very attentive and made good recommendations. We had The German Pilsner Beer and a Kona Beer from Hawaii. We ordered Wisconsin cheese curds and since it was almost a Kitchen Closing time, we had to leave before ordering anything else. But would be back soon.

Went here for St. Patrick's day lunch -- the atmosphere was very enjoyable and the food was especially delicious. We tried the Rueben sandwhich and the house made veggie burger.

I’ve tried filet and ribs combo and my friend had steak sandwich. We both enjoyed our food and filet was so delicious. Dine-in area was comfy and clean. Servers were friendly. Seems like perfect place to eat and chill.

“Well, I only went in for a drink.”

Well, I only went in for a drink. Met with a family member and left after a short while. The staff was great. The door people were friendly the bartender was great. I did go on a week night so there was definitely room, to sit and hear people speak (my hearing is a bit impaired from working so many years in an industry of loud music). Anyway, I know the place is a staple in the area and does get crowded. It's been a happening spot in the area for years.
