“I recently visited here for the first time and had a great time! The food was great and customer service was excellent.”

“Delicious food!!! Drinks came out a bit slow but this food and their menu is exceptional! Staff is very friendly!”

“Me and my guy randomly went on a Sunday and had a time. They were featuring an amazing live jazz band that matched the energy and food served!!! I will definitely be back!”

“Update: It's been 2 yrs since I've visited, but the service is still great! Carlos was our server and he was Fantastic! He was super attentive and knew all about the menu. He picked out my drink for me and the choice he made was Perfect. He also gave me additional insight to the menu. I ordered the shrimp & grits, brussel sprouts, and Appleonia (non-alcoholic) as my drink. Everything was delicious. The brussel sprouts have some spice to them . The drink was so good! 2 yrs ago: Pleasant staff. Mellow vibe. Chic scene. Great place to meet for drinks or grab dinner. Cool setting. We were quickly seated after our party arrived. The wine selection was vast, and they had a nice selection of local vendors as well. The food menu had a variety of options for everyone. From vegan to steak. The food was good and arrived quickly. We ordered watermelon steak, red snapper, salmon, steak, and Brussel sprouts. The red snapper was flavorful. The salmon was moist. The steak was done well, too. The Brussel sprouts were tasty. The watermelon steak was seasoned well. Our meals were very appetizing. Our waitress Jenise (or Janise) was very helpful with the menu and spot on with our order. She was super friendly and fun too.”

“This whole experience was fantastic! From the host to the servers, food runners and management, everyone was knowledgeable, enjoyable and accommodating. The food was delicious and the presentation was fantastic. It was a full team effort to ensure we were happy and satisfied. Well done!”

“Bronzeville Winery is a gem! The vibe is warm, modern, and welcoming, and the food absolutely is good. I was especially happy to see thoughtful vegan options on the menu—big win for inclusivity. Jasmine took such great care of us—attentive, friendly, and made the whole experience feel effortless. The only hiccup was the fries coming out a bit cold, but honestly, everything else was so good that it barely mattered. Between the atmosphere, service, and menu, this is definitely a spot worth coming back to.”

“Excellent wine selection. Clean. Great Ambience. Good service. In the heart of Bronzeville. A vibe”

“I recently visited Bronzeville Winery in Chicago for my best friend’s birthday, and the experience was a little mixed. When we first arrived, there was another party that was extremely loud, and it was pretty clear our waitress was dealing with a lot. She apologized to us early on and initially did a great job making sure we had everything we needed. As the night went on, though, the service became less attentive and a little more inconsistent. The food was definitely the highlight of the night. Everyone in our group seemed to enjoy their meals, and the DJ had us vibing all evening. The atmosphere was fun, and overall we had a good time celebrating. The biggest issue came at the end when it was time to pay. Because we were a large group, we found out during the payment process that the system could only accept four payments per check. Had we known that upfront, it would have saved a lot of confusion. It became frustrating for both our group and our waitress. Eventually, another gentleman in our group and I just split the two checks between us and had everyone pay us back to make things easier. Overall, the food was great, the music and atmosphere were enjoyable, and the service had its ups and downs. I do want to give our waitress some grace because she seemed overwhelmed and was clearly managing a lot throughout the evening. She tried, and I can appreciate that. In the end, the experience was a little mid for me. Not bad enough that I wouldn’t come back, but not quite good enough to rave about either.”

“I have visited Bronzeville Winery a number of times. This time, I had an early birthday celebration at Bronzeville Winery. The service was very good and the ambiance was unmatched. The food, however is inconsistent. When the restaurant owners are there, the food is amazing, but as soon as they leave or the evening grows later, the food quality dips. It is disappointing because I love this restaurant and their investment in the community. I had the salmon tagliatelle, which was delicious and had a beautiful presentation. The truffle fries were cooked perfectly. The cava was delightfully palatable. The peach cobbler was very forgettable. Lastly, I really enjoyed and appreciated my server, Corrine Z. She was thoughtful and I was in awe as she handled multiple tables with ease. Overall, I am happy I celebrated my birthday there and look forward to next time.”

“We were very excited to meet one of the owners. She was friendly, informative, gracious and helpful. Our server was very attentive. We enjoyed the food and the experience.”

“I think this was an off night . We arrived on time for our reservation but had to wait in order for us to sit together (14). They made the wait enjoyable serving us wine and water and seating outside. Drinks and food orders were slow. They compensated by providing humus platters and mushroom flatbread pizzas that were delicious while we waited for orders. Wine by the glass is over priced 8 oz glass $24. All liked their seafood dishes. The chicken lacked seasoning and was cooked to long. It was very dry. Looked and tasted like it was reheated too many times. The greens and biscuits were good.”
