“Our first visit here and it was fantastic! We had a party of eight, and everything—from making the reservation to being seated—was smooth and hassle-free. The ambiance was great, the food was absolutely delicious, and the service was exceptional. We enjoyed the Schezwan baby corn, chilli garlic naan, butter Naan, Mixed Veg Curry, and Malai Kofta—every dish was flavorful and well-prepared. My fav was the Gobi Manchurian, which was just mouth watering. A special thanks to Stanley for taking such great care of us. He was attentive, friendly, and made sure we were comfortable throughout our meal. If you’re in downtown Chicago and looking for delicious Indian food with excellent service, this place is definitely worth a visit. Highly recommend!”

“Very good taste and service! Every dish has its own unique flavor and charm and satisfies taste buds. The manchow soup, paneer chilly, gobi Manchurian, breads, brawnie with vanilla ice cream, falooda, malai soya chaap and nargisi aloo were just amazing.”

“What a hidden gem! Took a chance one evening with our friends and walked into Adda. Sometimes this is when you find the most unexpected surprises. Stanley greeted us and was our waiter and service from the entire team was excellent. Ordered chicken tikka masala, Patiala lamb, palak paneer a couple of other things and each tasted uniquely delicious. Fresh and flavorful and not like your typical indian restaurant taste. You can tell the chef had their own unique spin to each dish and it worked. Love the ambiance and woodwork. Great for casual gathering with friends or date night. Will definitely return soon to try the vast menu.”

“It been awhile since I've been to Indian food and this food was outstanding. The service was amazing. Very patient. Very helpful staff. Always upbeat. Always positive. Always encouraging great advice in the food. And again the food was amazing. Just the right amount of spikes. I like a little bit of spice and which is perfect”

“Great food! Very authentic. Can't wait to try more dishes. Punjabi Paneer Makhani and Garlic Chilly Naan were amazing. Highly recommend. Tried Paneer Chilly and Hakka Noodles! Too good!”

“Nice atmosphere, friendly and kind staff, table cloth (a rare pearl in US). The food is outstanding: an incredible mix of spices and flavor in a perfect balance. Everything was fantastic. Great experience. Even the desert was excellent.”

“We were visiting Chicago and searching for Halwa pori breakfast, after searching google we got recommendation for this one.The food was incredibly delicious very fresh the poris were light fluffy, chana and aalo were tasty we ordered Qeema and it was perfectly cooked with no smell of meat, tasty halwa hot tea For kids we ordered chicken sliders and they liked it,they have quiet speedy service to cater larger group. Highly recommend for a desi breakfast.”

“Best Indian food I’ve had in Chicago! Our server was attentive and friendly. And the food omg the food! Everything we had we loved and had leftovers. It was a lovely place to have dinner.”

“This is probably my favorite Indian restaurant in Chicago. The food is excellent - real spices are using in preparation and cooking, including bay leaves, cinnamon sticks, and pepper pods in the Biriyani, which give the food excellent spice and rich flavor! The atmosphere of the restaurant is very refined, with dim lighting at night, and is relaxed, moody, cozy, with a welcoming, comforting vibe. I have eaten at Adda several times since moving to Chicago, and find it to be very consistent in quality and delivery of a wonderful experience each time.”

“A cozy spot with an antique atmosphere, perfect for chilling with friends. The service is impeccable, and the food is packed with flavor—moderately spicy but bursting with taste. A must-visit for a relaxed and flavorful experience!”

“Very dissatisfying and disappointing food. Pushed towards a biryani which was pulao topped with chicken instead of chicken cooked with the rice. Everything was super salty. Waiter dropped off food and then did not appear for the rest of the meal so no one asked us how the food was. When we paid the bill we mentioned the food was salty and the response was silence. This was during lunch and there was no one in the restaurant so maybe that should have been a sign for us. Do not waste your money here.”
