“Great service, delicious food, generous portions, and the price is right! Zebda definitely has a community feel and casual ambiance. The cashier was very friendly and offered recommendations and chatted with several regulars during my visit. Counter service with about seven tables in front. Wonderful coffee! My latte was $3.50 for a 16oz. They do not have ice but you don't need it! I really enjoyed this latte even with the summer heat. I got the kefta sandwich with fries for a casual solo lunch with a latte. I will be back to explore the menu further! I was for sure eyeing everyone else's food for what I should get next time and everything looked good! The pastry case looked delicious and I will have to come back earlier in the day next time for their full selection. So glad I popped in and very excited to know this neighborhood spot!”

“The lamb shank was delicious. Very good portions, will be coming back!”

“One of the best experience I ever had in a restaurant, the guy on the front super friendly with great service, I ordered lump chunk with rice was so tender and huge and delicious. Very recommended I will be back for sure”

“Amazing Authentic Food and Amazing Vibes. 10/10 would recommend this hidden gem to everyone I know.”

“Really delicious food no matter what you order. Shockingly great prices. Nice service. The chicken tagine was especially good!”

“We ordered to go. I ordered the chicken tagine and falafel. The photo shows my second day serving of chicken, carrots and potatoes and it’s so well seasoned and tasty that I paused eating to write this review. It’s chef’s kiss.”

“Traveled all the way to Chicago to try this place! I have not eaten there but have ordered to-go many times! I am French and it is rare to find a place that makes and sells Merguez. The last time I have had some was in Morocco about 6-7 years ago and in the US, it has been decades. Zebda's Merguez slap. Very nostalgic and delicious. PS: yes they are that red! But they are very good! Photos: 1 - indoor menu as of July 2025 2 - Merguez Sandwich”

“We ordered the meatballs tagine and lamb shank — so flavorful, rich in spices and aroma. They went perfectly with the warm bread. Even the side salads and the olive oil and sesame dressings were great. The gravy from the dishes were so rich and comforting. We also took some dessert home — definitely worth trying. Highly recommend! Great flavors and fair prices.”

“We ordered lentil soup, chicken kabobs, kofta tagine, Coca Cola, and not pictured espresso with fruit tart. Food was delicious and service was friendly.”
