“Homegirl and I ate here 4th of July Weekend and both our dishes were amazing. I had the Dibi chicken and she had lamb. Very large portions, I had leftovers for lunch and dinner the next day. Food was hot, fresh and flavorful. The melon drink was delicious. I will be back and I recommend you eat here.”

“This was my first time ever eating African food, and I was absolutely blown away! The Yassa Lamb was outstanding, and so were the rice and plantains. But what I can't get over is how good the service was. I told my waitress it was my first time, and she took the time to explain the entire menu to me and what she recommended. She was so excited to explain it all to me; it was genuinely the best experience I have ever had at a restaurant. I cannot wait to come back with family & friends!!!”

“Went to this place because I wanted to try some Nigerian eats but it looks like it has so many different choices like a good variety of African eats which is better. We ended up ordering some fataya, Yassa Lamb, Dibi Lamb Senegal both with Djolof Rice and then we also had a side of plantains. Food was so busss and the serving was HUGE. Definitely try the lamb if you go here. Food was seasoned well. I definitely would come back in the future. VIBES WERE IMMACULATE. They played great RNB songs for me and my king 😍😍😍 whoever was on the aux that day was bangin! Anyways, 10/10. TRUST”

“Visiting from SC. The food was amazing, my first time trying West African food such as this. The fufu was as delicious and sweet and meshed amazingly with the sauce graine. The sauce graine was cooked to perfection with shrimp and beef! Would definitely recommend!”

“The snapper was fantastic! Perfectly seasoned and full of flavor. The cabbage and plantains were delicious too, and the hot sauce added an amazing kick. Everything was so good—I ate every bite and left nothing behind!”

“The food was really good. I'll visit again next time I'm in Chicago”

“My first time there and the young lady is already frowned up mad looking 🤦try smiling you will scare a person from there I asked her a question but I can tell she didn't want to be bothered so I asked anyway 🤣🤷 what's the difference between what I ordered and the stew on the menu she had attitude 🤦sis it's gone be ok but the food was salty and 2 many onions cut up on top of it should be optional because I didn't like that but yet again my first and last time there and no disrespect 💯to you all but my opinion”

“10/10 amazing the fish was bomb and the chicken too! Will definitely be back for the lamb and stews in the future, this is a spot you can bring your family and friends and it will not disappoint!”

“I ordered the Yassa lamb with aloco (sweet plantains) via the Relish app which is what we have at work. It gets delivered to a floor in my building and we pick it up from there. The order was ready by 12:15pm, the temperature was hot. It is very tasty and a very good portion. I will have some reserved for dinner. It is only 4/5 stars because of the packaging. I now make this a crucial criterion in my reviews. But I wouldn’t hesitate to come to the restaurant and order more food!”

“The atmosphere was great it was definitely clean. I also met the owner and his daughter nice ppl. However the reason I cannot and will not give this restaurant 5 is bcuz the staff here is TERRIBLE. The place was not busy at all there is no reason to we waited for 20mins. Unacceptable… on top of it taking the food long to be served to us. I order the Red snapper and the sides that came with it.(rice) The red snapper is always hot and fresh, but the sides were very much cold. Over all the staff have to get better with their service and be more attentive with their customers. And stop serving cold sides”
