Jamaica and Soulfood -so good! I ordered the fried shrimp which came with two sides. I ordered the baked Mac n cheese and cornbread. The Mac n cheese was perfect! The fried shrimp was so good too! And it also came with a bed of rice and beans like homemade baked beans sauce. The one and only suggestion i could make would be for the shrimp to have a bit of extra spice in the formula. And even still, it was perfect without it. I also love that the business is family run. Great service, friendly, helpful, family... really good to the soul! Highly recommend!

Tiff knows what she's doing! I got the white jerk chicken dinner with rice, plantains & greens. The chicken was juicy with a perfect jerk char on the skin. Tons of flavor in everything. this was my first time getting there and I will definitely be going back to try the other dishes. They do close early on Sundays...get your orders in before 6pm.

Oh. My. Gravy this place has the FOOD. I drive for Uber and one of my riders told me about this restaurant her mom owns and how I needed to go. SO. I grabbed one of my besties and we went! Look, it's not a big place and it's not fancy, okay? But, the minute you walk in, Tiff makes you feel like you've stopped in at her place (which makes sense because you have) and she's going to whip something up fresh for you while you chat about nothing and everything all at once. I ordered the jerk chicken which comes with rice and cabbage (omg best cabbage I've ever had!!!) and I chose a side order of sweet potatoes. My friend had the pot roast (comes with the same sides) and mac & cheese. Our food was out in about 10 minutes and we cleaned our plates in the same amount of time - we're definitely adding Dirty Tiff's to our regular rotation!

Another place top in my list. Exceeded my expectations immensely! I never had jerk catfish but it did NOT disappoint. The rice was my favorite but that doesn't mean the yams, mac&cheese, greens, cornbread, or chicken was anything less than delicious. I'm hoping I have some leftovers for dinner.

Had the fried catfish with red beans and rice, greens, and mac & cheese. Huge portion size - I was barely able to finish, but I did because it was so delicious. This is the closest I've come to southern comfort food in my nearly 3 years in Chicago.

Ok so I normally don’t leave good reviews about restaurants I just become a returning customer. But baabbyy let me tell you about this gem I found when I was craving some jerk. I call about a week ago to place an order and Tiff the owner said they just ran out of macaroni and cheese, I’m like ok I’ll try another time. The past reviews made me keep them in mind cause that Mac looked delicious. I was hungover that day and decided to order from another spot on 79th I never tried and that food was horrible I wound up getting a refund. Fast forward to yesterday, I called to make sure they was open and had the mac n cheese she said they weren’t open yet, but within 30-45 mins. I waited to take my lunch at work, placed my order for the jerk chicken meal cause they didn’t have jerk fish ready on Uber eats and arrived to pick up. I asked when will the fish be ready she told me 30 mins because she takes ppl health seriously and no cross contamination at her establishment. I said cool I understand and appreciate that I would try it another time. I went back to work to clock out for the day and decided to go back for that fish and I’m so glad I did. It was nice portions of which she has lunch specials, seasoned well, not over cooked and the Mac n cheese was absolutely delicious. Could’ve used more gravy on the rice but I mixed them collards with the cabbage and omg hands down. I will be returning and ordering often for lunch. Thanks Tiff for my new Jerk spot, apologize for the long review but this was my A+ experience!!
