Trilokah Kerala and South Indian Restaurant — solid, no-fuss indian in Lincoln Park. A holdout in the best possible way. The kind of cooking that doesn't need to explain itself. Solid veggie options, BYOB. Ann: "I always ask for extra coconut chutney because it’s delicious and their sambar is tangy and not sweet"

🍷BYOB — grab a bottle next door, they'll open it.
🌱Vegan & vegetarian friendly — real options, not one sad pasta.

What an absolute adventure of flavors! Pick a dish, any dish, and you are met by a swarm of perfectly balanced taste in a cozy environment which takes you back home. Rain at the time was a perfect combo with the filter coffee. Definitely a must try if you're in town!

This food reminds me of my time in Kerala. All the food you’ll order will be good and the filter coffee after your meal is a must!

My first experience trying a Keralite restaurant and it did not disappoint! The vegetarian Kerala parotta was so good — something different from the usual, and the presentation was great too. My friends tried one of the non-veg bowls and loved it as well. The ambience was really interesting, with South Indian culture and cinema reflected through the pictures and frames around the restaurant. Great food, great vibe, and the host’s sense of humour made the experience even better haha!

I just took my family to Trilokah. We loved the korma and noodles! Masala dosa was extremely crispy with a delicious potato filling. The team is incredibly hospitable and kind. A great neighborhood vibe with a great soundtrack!

Had an immense craving for Kerala food and a close friend suggested Trilokha. Decided to order in since we had some family over. The banana bajjis tasted extremely authentic - like the ones I’ve enjoyed decades earlier in Trivandrum, Kerala. The matta rice and stew were tastefully prepared, although the vegetable stew could use more spice. It was mild, but quite tasty. I got the paladai payassam - also known as ada prathaman. It was pretty decent as well. The quantities are sumptuous and 2 people can easily share. I made sure there was pappadoms (not appalams). In fact, asked for extra pappadums. We got an extremely generous amount.
