Thai O'Clock — low-key thai in Irving Park that runs on repeat customers. The look is curated without feeling cold. The kitchen takes tradition seriously. BYOB. Rabhas B.: "Gangped Roasted Duck is my favorite - juicy, perfectly roasted duck with spicy red curry sauce"

“The best dish was the sea bass, heavenly to find the right words, we will definitely be back soon, and already can’t wait, shout out to our waitress, her name is Yuan, if my spelling is wrong sorry, the presentation for all the dishes were amazing, hats off to the chef”
Ridiculous prices for such small portions, don’t waste your time!
This was the worst Thai food I have ever tasted. The chicken satay was so dry and flavorless.

“This has easily become my #1 go-to for Thai food.”
This has easily become my #1 go-to for Thai food. The food is consistently delicious. I highly recommend the Pineapple Fried Rice, Pad Woon Sen and the Tom Yum Soup. FYI, the spiciness level here is definitely "white people" spicy, so if you like really spicy food let them know! The service is always excellent. Even when I dine alone, the staff is incredibly attentive and professional. One thing I've noticed recently while people-watching during my solo meals is that some customers overlook leaving a tip. It's really disheartening because their team there works so hard and provides such great service. They truly deserve the appreciation.

We went here for dinner on Halloween and brought a bottle of wine, because they had BYOB status, but they are working on getting their liquor license. We ordered everything to share. Two appetizers: Shrimp Shumai and grilled New Zealand lamb. The lamb was sooo good. I highly recommend. As our entree, we ordered the Thai O’Clock See Ew with tofu which had vermicelli rice noodles. This was probably my favorite variation on a glass noodles dish I’ve ever had. The tofu was perfectly crisp without tasting fried. We also ordered the dessert special: Thai iced tea creme brûlée. This was good. I think there could have been a bit more depth to this. The topping had toasted coconut which was amazing and maybe adding more coconut to the base would’ve helped, or even ginger. I’m not sure, but it was missing something small. I can’t wait for them to start making drinks as I’m sure their cocktails will be incredible. Highly recommend this place to anyone. I want to go back whenever I’m in the area.

“First time visiting this spot and all I can say is wow.”
First time visiting this spot and all I can say is wow! 😍 The vibe is sleek, modern, and perfect for a date night or a special outing.✨ I ordered takeout and tried the scallop rangoons and wonton soup—both were packed with incredible flavor! While every place has its own take on wonton soup, this one stood out with a rich, satisfying taste. I do wish the soup had crab, chicken, shrimp or pork in it along with the wontons, but it was still absolutely delicious. Definitely a 10/10 experience—I’m already excited to come back and try more dishes! 😋🔥 (Oops, forgot to snap a pic of the soup! 🤣)

“🌟 Delicious food and friendly service.”
🌟 Delicious food and friendly service! We had an amazing meal — the Yum Pla Duk Foo, fish cakes, Seafood Rangoon , Sea Bass with house ginger sauce and drunken noodles with shrimps were full of flavor. The Thai iced tea and coconut ice cream were perfect treats. The staff was so kind and welcoming — made us feel right at home. Highly recommend Thai O’Clock! 🥰

“Definitely one of the best Thai experiences in Chicago.”
Definitely one of the best Thai experiences in Chicago! - exquisite taste, aesthetic food presentation, and inviting, modern ambiance - not to mention excellent and friendly service. As a Thai, I can confirm that the food is very authentic. Gangped Roasted Duck is my favorite - juicy, perfectly roasted duck with spicy red curry sauce. Yum Pla Duk Foo tastes just like home - I love the spicy and sour sauce with crispy, fluffy catfish. Kao Moo Dang (BBQ Pork and Crispy Pork Belly) is also very authentic. Beef Pad See Ew tastes just right with an infusion of smoky goodness. The best part is yet to come; coconut ice cream is perfect to finish your meal - creamy, with soft, chewy coconut meat, topped with roasted coconut flakes. Will definitely come back for more! 😋
