The menu is compact yet thoughtful, and everything we ordered hit the mark: the chicken satay was deliciously nutty, the shrimp salad bright and refreshing with a nice kick of spice, and the pad kee mao comforting and well balanced

Ghin Khao Eat Rice — among the best thai in Pilsen. The kind of spot that earns loyalty, not hype. Not your typical menu, in a good way, and BYOB. "The focus is on grilled marinated meats, flavorful starters, and salads loaded with fresh herbs and spices" — Nik-nik Achanzar [$$]

🍷BYOB — grab a bottle next door, they'll open it.
🌱Vegan & vegetarian friendly — real options, not one sad pasta.

Food was surprisingly flavorful. Menu is limited but the offered options are very traditional and tasty. Service was very good. It's a BYOB. We had to wait about 15 minutes for a party of 4 at peak time Sat evening. Highly recommend

Ghin Khao is a charming Thai spot with a casual semi self serve setup. The menu is compact yet thoughtful, and everything we ordered hit the mark: the chicken satay was deliciously nutty, the shrimp salad bright and refreshing with a nice kick of spice, and the pad kee mao comforting and well balanced. The grandma’s pork belly was a standout - crispy, fragrant, and indulgent without being overly fatty. The service was incredibly warm & friendly that further elevated our visit. Easily one of the most memorable and cozy Thai food spots in town, and we’d love to return soon.

Dont ignore this tiny Thai restaurant from the exterior look, neighbourhood if you are craving for authentic Thai food, the taste makes it all up No wonder why they made it to the list of Michelin recommended restaurants in 2020-21. Still I would not order the Satay Chicken, but rest on their menu sets a new bar for all other Thai food joints in town

Before I went here I already knew that I liked Thai food quite a bit, but it wasn't quite my favorite cuisine. Going here made me change my mind and fall in love with thai cuisine in general. The papaya salad is a great combo of fresh veggies with a great kick of spice and umami at the end. The larb gai is my benchmark for other Thai restaurants, and so far none have come close. The pad kee mao has the best noodles in terms of chew and char. I seriously can't get enough of this place and it's always a treat to get it when I'm in the area. God bless the chef that's in the back especially since each time I've been here they were running solo. 5 stars please never close down.

We went for a Friday dinner and there was only chef working so everything was a bit slow. However, the food was phenomenal. The som tum was authentic: not too sweet like other spots I have tried. It was refreshingly tart and fragrant from the kumquat. The larb gai was also excellent with all the flavors very well-balanced. Pad kee mao had a great char and the delectable smoky wok hei. The texture of the noodles definitely elevated this dish: thin yet possessing such a satisfying chew. Definitely get their khao soi special if they have it! It's one of the best that the city has to offer.

Nice Cozy Spot, friendly server. I ordered the Pad Kee Mao platter with Shrimp & chicken. The sautéd proteins paired along a combination of charred noodles and veggies was great. Our spice power was a homemade red sauce along with “home roasted peppers” which to me tasted a lot like Chiles de arbol. Appetizers were non existent on the menu besides the ones written on the chalkboard on the wall which surprised me for a Michelin Star restaurant. However the 3x$5 veggie rolls available were crispy and fresh. $4 BYOB fee for 1 tall boy can of white claw I brought in since there is no beer on the menu. For a Michelin Guide Restaurant. I’ll be brutally honest. I was expecting a little more spark as far as the music, ambiance and wider food selection, other than that a great experience overall.

Rice noodles with Shrimp is excellent, packed with flavor. Crab fried rice is good 👌🏾 Chicken is very bland and tasteless in the fried rice, that is the only disappointment. Limited seating and semi self service. It will take 20min for the food to arrive.

Hats off for the delivery actually arriving earlier than expected. Food was nice and warm. I got the Pad Khee Mao which had a fair amount. Good mix of veggies with the red onions being my favorite since they added a crunch. The chicken was plain but cooked well. The noodles were soft and tasty. The only thing this needed was some spice. There was none at all which would take it from a dish I enjoy to one that’d I seek out.

Delicious!!, a little pricey, but definitely worth your money, portions are a little smaller than other restaurants but definitely fresh and flavorful.
