I would say they service was a bit over eager and attentive for my taste but it's not a complaint, it's a noticing thay they are very attentive and caring

Bree Thai Restaurant — straightforward thai in Garfield Ridge. Come for the food, stay for the energy. Portions are serious, plan accordingly, and owner on site. "The rice noodles were perfectly cooked, maintaining their tender yet slightly chewy texture" — Moises Treviño Garcia [$$]

This unassuming location belies the treasure within. The service was so friendly and welcoming and the food was phenomena. I have never had a dish of pad Thai half as good as Bree Thai. Such perfectly balanced flavors and textures. I will be coming back!

The food was amazing. This will be on my list to eat at again. Full of flavor and we were stuffed when we left. The waiter was so nice and immediately waited on. Our drinks never ran out. They deserve 10 stars. Great job!

Bree Thai is a lovely little spot with fantastic and flavorful dishes. I was very satisfied with my soup and entree and finished feeling full. The interior is cozy and compact and provides a very social environment with neighboring tables within arms reach. The owners and staff are very friendly and are excellent at providing quality service. I'll definitely be back in the future to try more of the dishes on the menu since the two I had were flawless.

Mango sticky rice is so good! One of my only spots to get Thai tea since it’s so amazing here. The mango sticky had hair but the mangos were good.

Solid little hole-in-the-wall Thai spot with friendly, good service and inexpensive lunch specials at $9.99. The portions are on the small side though—rice or noodles are clearly measured and won’t leave you full. Best value is the curry, which comes in a fuller bowl and includes a small side of rice; still light, but more satisfying. The green curry was the standout—rich coconut flavor and really delicious. Pad Thai was a bit too sweet for my taste, and the fried rice was pretty underwhelming. Overall: good for a quick, affordable lunch if you’re not expecting big portions. Pictured: soup of the day chicken noodle and crab Rangoon. Comes with the lunch special.

Well so far I finally got a chance to try this Thai restaurant close to Midway airport. They are closed Monday through me Wednesdays all day and they're only open Thursdays through Sundays. So far the Thai iced tea was good they have at lunch time hours the $9.99 entrees but the portions are smaller which is why I asked but I was really craving for a Thai food and I didn't mind spending $4 more although the soup which is a cup I ordered of Tom kha and chicken is a little more at $8 or $12 a bowl. I ordered the cup because I ordered a regular size red curry in beef. Ambience is a bit small with music in the background and more modern although parking can be very difficult. Service seems to be very friendly the owner is Hispanic Latin but his wife is Thai. I felt like in a small bar because they're playing 1980s music of camouflage and depache mode. It was busy for lunch time too on a Thursday. The tom kha chicken soup was good I wish they would put lemongrass but certain Thai restaurants have variations whether they put the lemongrass or not. Lemon Grass root is hard to chew so I'm assuming they wouldn't. The red curry and beef was also delicious too they put the bamboo shoots. I would come back for the lunch special next time but wanted to splurge since I haven't had thai cuisine in a while. Parking can be very difficult though cuz it's at a plaza but very small space. It surprises me because he does get busy the owner named Frank. Even during lunch time.

I’ve been coming here for years, the food is amazing. I just feel a little disappointed because more than once the male owner personality can be a little strong. He should work on being a bit more relaxed and welcoming.
