“Its my favorite location for brunch, food was fine. Services is phenomenal. Big selection of food. Great place for brunch and to enjoy Chicago! I highly recommend and definitely coming back!”

“Chelsea is my favorite bartender! She is so welcoming and makes the best whiskey sour in town.”

“If I could give 100 stars I would!! First time in Chicago- in town for Rufus Du Sol and needed a great steakhouse for our kickoff meal.. Tavern On Rush absolutely, positively knocked it out of the park. Easily made a reservation online and had a lovely table on the second floor. Steve was our server and I cannot say enough good things about him. So hospitable, knowledgeable, kind, attentive- this guy legit knew our entire order, I swear he was psychic 🤣 truly made the experience one to remember. We had the Hamachi Crudo and Bao Buns to start, each got a tenderloin, and shared a couple sides of broccolini and fried rice. We sipped Old Fashions as well and wowww 🤌 the manager, Agim, introduced himself as well and made sure everything was stellar. If you are in the area, this is a MUST go. I already can’t wait to come back!!!!! Thank you guys for a seriously delicious, truly memorable experience.”

“Fernando and Christian were so fun to have! We went last night for a late valentines dinner and the food was amazing but the service really took the cake”

“Drinks are top tier , service was wonderful food on point but I wasn’t expecting the Cajun shrimp appetizer to be that SCRUMPTIOUS a couple more it could be an entree”

“The food is amazing! I love coming here for dinner with my friends. The atmosphere is so beautiful and the staff is so nice. You can tell they really care about their customers. The manager even gave my girls and I a complimentary champagne to make the girls night even better! Highly recommend their ladies night as well where they give away a pair of shoes!”

“Despite living in Chicago for over a decade, I somehow managed to never step foot in Tavern on Rush. A personal failing, really. So when they opened their new, massive space, I decided Restaurant Week was the perfect time to finally correct history. The room is huge — dark, polished, and clearly built to handle everything from quiet Sunday dinners to full-tilt social energy. On a Sunday night, the volume was pleasantly moderate, though you can absolutely tell this place knows how to turn it up when the moment calls for it. Dinner started with a Caesar salad that was fresh, crisp, and exactly what a Caesar should be when it respects itself. I followed with the skirt steak, cooked perfectly and paired with chimichurri that did all the talking — it needed nothing more than a light pinch of salt. The branzino was also generously sized and thoroughly enjoyed, holding its own against the steak without trying to compete. I fully leaned into the cocktail pairing menu, which was delightful, well thought out, and eventually required someone else to drive me home. No regrets. Dessert was a single scoop of gelato, which sounds modest until you taste it. Be bold. Choose the cherry. Service was top notch, exactly what you’d expect from a place with this much Chicago dining history behind it — polished, attentive, and professional without being stiff. All told: worth the wait, worth the reputation, and worth wondering why it took me this long to finally show up.”

“Beautiful atmosphere and a great spot to enjoy brunch. The steak eggs benedict was delicious, and most of the food was very enjoyable. Unfortunately, the overnight oats/parfait missed the mark and wasn’t my favorite. The service was the weakest part of the experience. I had to ask for coffee refills and request creamer separately, which made the service feel inattentive. That said, the welcoming atmosphere and overall dining experience still made it worth the visit. I’d come back for the food and the patio ambiance.”

“As expected fort that area. Good service, good food and good atmosphere. Nothing that is 5- star that will really "WOW" anyone, but better than most.”
