“So sad that I just discovered your place and you’re closing! Absolutely delicious; generous portions (I got the lunch special and have another meal in addition to what is shown in my picture). This would have been my go to Chinese food place, if it was staying open :( Mongolian Tofu (I added the broccoli at home)…”

“Exactly what I want when I order Chinese takeout + best restaurant name in Chicago”

“Great spot! All the classics, as good as ever. And great staff to go with it. Highly recommend the string beans dish and salt & pepper fish or tofu. Also the Kung Po chicken and the Mapo tofu and the egg rolls are super hearty.”

“Update: Originally, we were not impressed by the food here. We took up the owner on his offer to try his restaurant again, and we were pleasantly surprised. We tried Mongolian Beef and Kung Pao Chicken with vegetable rice and combination (with protein) rice. Both dishes were very good and were delicious. The rice was fluffy and not greasy, and was also tasty. Overall, a great healthy choice for Chinese food in Ukrainian Village.”

“UPDATE: We don't often get a chance to eat our words, but today we are happy we did. Nathan, the owner, invited us to try some of their more popular dishes, instead of the rather mild tasting choices we tried previously. Everything was delicious. Perfectly cooked, brightly colored fresh vegetables, tender beef, chicken, and pork. We had Mongolian Beef, Kung Pao Chicken, a combination fried rice, which was fluffy and loaded, and a vegetable fried rice that was exceptionally good. None of the dishes were oily, and all were big enough to share. If you can imagine healthy Chinese cooking, this is where you'll find it. Nothing came out of a can. Even the vegetables were meticulously chopped to an appropriate size so you didn't have to try and shove half a green pepper in your mouth. We are looking forward to trying their fresh dumplings, wonton-noodle soup, and Pad Thai. Everything they make is from scratch, so if you want your dish seasoned a certain way, they will happily oblige.”
“You wouldn’t tell from the outside but a no nonsense take out restaurant with some space to eat inside. Good portions, good food and good taste. Will definitely come back for takeout.”
“Great food, friendly staff, good prices. Top tier Crab Rangoon.”
“I really love their Mongolian beef, egg drop soup, and crab Rangoon! Absolutely my go-to Chinese take out.”
