“This joint is an absolute jewel of the westside.”
This joint is an absolute jewel of the westside! They've figured out how to create a safe, fun and friendly atmosphere where grown folk can fellowship! Our server was on point, food tasty and drink menu was well thought out! I've only been here once but all indications are this place is here to stay! My compliments to the owner!

“Visited Chicago this Sunday and had a great experience here.”
Visited Chicago this Sunday and had a great experience here. Found this place from Google maps and didn't realize they were reservation only, but thankfully they were gracious enough to still accommodate us. Fried green tomatoes were like a southern granny had cooked them, fried fish was cooked very well , Mac had different flavors from cheeses, and the down in the delta was excellent. Customer service was well, owner or manager came around to make sure the guest had good experiences and from the looks of it they have a nice set of regulars who come in. Would recommend this place and visit again

“This was one of the best Black owned restaurants I’ve tried in Chicago.”
This was one of the best Black owned restaurants I’ve tried in Chicago. I went here for my birthday and got the Salmon bites as an appetizer. I got steak, asparagus, and Mac & cheese as my entree. I could’ve went without the Mac, but everything else was phenomenal. The drinks were strong and the service was also great.

My first time dining at this location, we had reservation set for 7:15 we arrived a little early. We were set at arrive the space is beautiful a low tone setting where you can feel relax. The service was spot on know long waits food was fresh and hot with well seasoned portion sides were enough to leave you satisfied. I love the green beans and potatoes with smoked turkey meat, the honey chicken was juicy I got the white meat crisp and crunchy. I highly recommend.

“I just love this place.”
I just love this place! Everything about it was perfection. The atmosphere was very nice; the lighting, the seating, real cute & cozy. The customer service was phenomenal!!! The food was delicious, like it came from grandma's kitchen. Our server LaDonna was absolutely AMAZING!! Her whole vibe just took our dining experience over the top. We spoke to the owner and she too is amazing. Anytime I can support Black businesses I do & when I can truly give an excellent review, it does my heart good. 10 out of 10, highly recommended!

Fantastic ! I received excellent service. Staff were attentive and accommodating. Portions were appropriate for the price. The sides were a little pricey but not more than average. The drink menu is limited with a lot of vodka-based cocktails. I would highly recommend the fish and grits.

“I knew that I had to make reservations.”
I knew that I had to make reservations. I'm glad I did. We walked straight in and were immediately seated. Soule is a hot 🔥 spot. I mean the music 🎶 was good the decor is beautiful and it's a 😎 chill cool place. There's a bar area and you can order your food there too. The upstairs is what I liked. I'm sure it's for private events but the upstairs was swanky. Everyone from the hostess, our server Bree, and the waitstaff was very nice and friendly. Thank you for the customer service. It was above and beyond. The food wasn't bad it was actually good. It came out super fast. My sister and I were like wait a minute but it was good the only thing is it wasn't hot. It wasn't cold but I feel like it could have been hotter than what it was. Other than that it was good. The shrimp and salmon over the mashed potatoes was hitting. I should have got that but I went with the blackened catfish shrimp over dirty rice... still a great choice. My sister had the peach cobbler and ice cream. There's no picture because that's how fast she ate it 😊🤗she said it was good We will definitely go back.

“Soulé was such a refreshing experience.”
Soulé was such a refreshing experience! As a native west sider is feels so good to have an elevated dining experience right in our own neighborhood. We were sat immediately upon arrival, and Destiny our server was amazing, and the food taste and quality delivered. If you need a nice dining experience with good food this is the place. My personal favorites were the fried chicken, red beans and rice with smoked turkey 🙌🏽, and the green beans For dessert the warm pound cake with rum caramel drizzle was phenomenal.

“Made a reservation though there were a few tables open when we got there.”
Made a reservation though there were a few tables open when we got there. I appreciate a place that is open in someone’s own neighborhood. It feels like a neighborhood spot that is also a bit upscale with sleek interior and a black and gold theme. The food was good. Favorites were the Mac and cheese, cream corn, and blackened catfish. The crisp of the catfish over grits was also really good. Fried chicken and greens were a bit salty. Cocktails were good and strong.

“Family of 5 and we spent $264.”
Family of 5 and we spent $264. The food was delicious 😋. Appetizers: creamy garlic shrimp, fried green tomatoes and Cajun salmon bites are a hit. The catfish was fried perfectly and had a great crunch. I had the Down in the Delta which was excellent. My husband really enjoyed the Surf and Turf Pasta. My parents really enjoyed the sides: mac n cheese, greens, asparagus and sweet potatoes. We met the owner while dining in. She was very sweet and pleasant. Great job Cooks! 👏
