I been eating at Roy's a least half my life and today I'm very disappointed and in disbelief first off the girl at the counter is not good with customer service you guys need to hire someone else secondly my order was short ribs which smell and tasted spoiled my dressing was hard and lumpy we're undercooked macaroni taste of old also i thought I'd never see the day that I had to go so far as to put this review I'll never eat there and I recommend that people please don't eat there and then had the nerve to tell me to bring it back as if I would eat anything else out of that restaurant or desire anything else if I had an option not to give a star I wouldn't give it not one star.

I wanted to support a black owned business for Juneteenth. The smothered pork chops, Mac and cheese, and sweet potatoes were delicious. All for around $17 not too bad. I did a review for my YouTube channel "Mailman Nick"

ATTENTION EVERYBODY... If you want REAL SOUL FOOD and great service and did I say REAL soul food from momma’s kitchen, come here ROY’S. We CAN’T get enough. This is a small place and you can’t dine in, but you can call ahead surely it’s worth the pick up. The service is impeccable and so friendly. We were remembered just after one time. I love this place. It’s like going to my sister’s house to pick a plate up. You will not regret coming here. Don’t judge a book by it’s cover. It’s not the best looking place, but when I say you won’t regret coming and your taste buds will thank you. I’ll be back In a few days. Enjoy! I sure did!

Dear god, this food was so good, so satisfying, so hood, and i LOVED IT. Atmosphere is small and close. People are friendly, service is friendly and good, very down home feel. Might be too loud if youre not a local, but don't let the staff yelling at each other put you off, its part of the charm and its very familiar.

“I was a bit disappointed.”

I was a bit disappointed. The Mac didn’t have that authentic taste, yams were rubbery, cornbread was dry but the best thing was the beans and rice. I had it with the shortrib. Shortrib was only ok. I love soul food & was hoping the reviews were on point but my meal wasn’t. Maybe they just had an off day because on some pics the mac even looks different.
