Riccardo Enoteca
Riccardo Enoteca — one of Old Town's strongest italian spots. The setting does the work on date night. The kitchen starts with good ingredients and it shows. Katharine Schrager: "We both enjoyed our pastas - the lasagna was very rich and hearty" [$$, patio]

“My husband and I walked in around 4:30 pm on a beautiful Saturday afternoon, they were already getting ready for their dinner reservations so we were sat by the bar. Amazing ambiance, such a family-friendly place… as we sat in the bar, we saw the bartender making pretty juices for the littles sat on another table. What a gem of a place right in the heart of Lincoln park.”

“Service was excellent . Server was very attentive . I had the branzino and veal meatballs . End with a scoop ice cream . I will be back .”

“We went to this beautiful restaurant during the restaurant week and it was amazing! The service was fast and attentive thank you so much”

“I'm writing this review at the table. Haven't even left the restaurant yet. This meal was unbelievable. We came for restaurant week and were not disappointed. Far from. Every single course was *chef's kiss*. Highly recommend the prosciutto de parma and lasagna. Outstanding. Would give this place 50 stars if I could. Thank you Hector for the service. Have mercy.”

“Comida excelente e atendimento melhor ainda! Os pratos são muito bem servidos, se você come pouco, pegue um prato e divida em duas pessoa! Todos os pratos que pedimos eram deliciosos, incluindo o tiramisu! Se quer um restante para comer bem e ser bem atendido, vá lá!”

“Every time we visit Chicago, Riccardo Enoteca is a must. You can truly taste the passion and effort in every dish — flavors are perfectly balanced and delicious. The wine selection is superb, especially the Barolo. My top picks: the salad “Cuori di lattuga romana” and the main “Polipo alla Genovese.” The restaurant is always clean, unpretentious, with a great ambiance. The staff is professional, friendly, and makes you feel like family — special thanks to Juan for his kindness. Highly recommended!”

“Great dinner! Fagioli soup had great flavorful broth. The beef carpaccio was a bit on the thick side and a bit chewy, but nice addition of avocado and hearts of palm The pesto shrimp special was delicious! The pesto sauce was perfect. Carbonara dish was well done and I’m a bit of a carbonara snob. Our waiter, Hector, great. Friendly and attentive.”

“Delicious dinner at Riccardo Enoteca with great friends. The caprese and arugula salads (to start) and lasagna, salmon, lamb, and gnocchi as mains were all amazing. Definitely a restaurant to repeat.”

“Incredible service and food! It felt like I was dining in a swanky old New York Italian restaurant where Mr Big serenades Carrie Bradshaw. LOVELY. Cannot wait to return!”

“This place is amazing! We had the best time and great service. The brick oven flatbread is a must. The octopus was amazing. By far the best tiramisu in town. I can’t believe it took me this long to try it”

“A quaint restaurant tucked away in Lincoln Park. The outdoor sidewalk seating was perfect. I was surprised to see that restaurant itself is very small (maybe around 12 tables) but it added to the charm. Service was fantastic Food was right up there but I wasn’t blown away I will be back to try more here 😊”
