“Service-wise, they took forever to take our order even to the point where they looked at us and basically ignored us”
We were a party of 8. The waitress mixed up our orders.

“Long we have searched and now we have found them..”
Long we have searched and now we have found them... GLUTEN FREE PIEROGI! Everything was delicious. Better than my Polish MIL makes but don't tell her! The only gripe I had was that not all of the GF pierogi options were available when we went. TBH, it didn't matter though as everything we had was great.

“all that’s left after i got done with it .”
all that’s left after i got done with it . best pierogis and potato pancakes of my life . it’s a 30 min drive from me but id do double just to sweetly and gently mouth harass and make love to those god sent pierogis. the soft cakey chewy crispy potato pancakes makes me wanna just wear them around like earrings so i can smell them every time i take a breath . i love you tatas pierogis ❤️ it’s like my life was incomplete until i found you , thank for your completing my life. i’m gonna go sit down and think about how good and orgasmic those 10 minutes were where i slammed that food down , every slow dirty hot bite at a time

“Tata is such a gem.”
Tata is such a gem! The food tastes just like authentic homemade Polish cooking — hearty, flavorful, and made with care. The pierogi were amazing, and the portions were generous. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and the staff are kind and attentive. Definitely one of my new favorite spots for comfort food. Highly recommend!

“Fantastic Polish restaurant in Itasca, Illinois.”
Fantastic Polish restaurant in Itasca, Illinois. We had delicious pierogies and I definitely recommend the traditional onion and cheese pierogi. The Polish sausage was great as was the potato pancake it was on. The hot sauerkraut was delicious and the coleslaw was too. Very affordable for what you get. Highly recommend.

“Tata's is a really great place for Polish/Eastern European cuisine.”
Tata's is a really great place for Polish/Eastern European cuisine. There's so much to choose from. I ended up getting the Polish plate for some variety. The sausage was flavorful and had just right of char to it. The potato cake and cabbage were also very good. However, the pierogies stole the show. Fantastic flavor with the cheese & potato and potato and kraut. Perfect texture and flavor. I also had a pint of Tyskie and Warka and they were both quite good with a nice balance of malt and hops. I definitely recommend trying this place out.
