“Love a local spot with a great burger. The restaurant was a vibe with a dj playing during dinner service. The hand roll was the best hand roll I’ve ever had”

“Cute and comfy, with a small, changing but very interesting and original menu. Maybe better for snacking while drinking cocktails (very small wine by the glass menu, also some beer) rather than full on dinner. Table and bar seating, make a reservation if you really want to stop in here. Friendly service (co-owner and chef was doing the hosting in the Sunday evening we stopped in), waitress was cheerful and assisting with describing the Korean/Asian/less commonly known elements of the dishes . Super creative cocktails (we had a Greek salad and a Black Sesame Cookie s well as a glass of wine). Also tried the Brazilian cheese and tapioca bites (like an ultra light mac n cheese croquette), a very flavorful spinach stuffed tofu yubuchobop, and a fried chicken sandwich on incredible bread that very schnitzel like, and filling. There were other interesting things on the menu (though not desert ; just 2 offerings) that I hope will be available at our next visit. Definitely recommended for drinks, listening to music you won’t find elsewhere and didn’t know you needed and exploring food along the way. Early on Sunday there was an interesting mix of clientele, mainly foodie types, including families, singletons, small groups, old people. Guessing it gets more hipster later in night. Bottom line is food is worth the hype /renown, even at a slightly elevated price point. Also, it shouldn’t take so long to deliver a glass of wine mid-meal. I put that on our server. Individual bathroom with great record themed decor, clean, warm, spacious, good TP, above average hand towels. Food drink experience : B+ Bathroom: A- Overall: B+/A-”

“One of my all time favorite meals. The drinks are creative and the layers of flavor in every dish felt so intentional and grounded. The dirty martini with anchovy was brilliant. I loved the soundsystem and live dj during dinner. Ate handrolls and burger to which i added bacon. Legendary.”

“Celebrated my birthday here and it was perfection start to finish. The craft cocktails set the tone — playful, creative, and full of unexpected flavor twists. Then the food. The black cod, toro hand roll, pad Thai and bing cake were all stunning. Creative without being fussy, and every single dish was delicious. A huge thank you to Chef Beverly and Chef Johnny for their incredible hospitality — you could feel the warmth and care in every detail. The staff and service matched that energy perfectly. Great music, great atmosphere, great people. This place just gets it right. Highly, highly recommend. 🙌”

“Amazing experience, great cocktails and even more unique dishes. Can’t wait to return!”

“Place speaks for itself!!!! Beats, Eats and LP’s what more do you want in life.”

“This place is very different from their original concept and while I like the old place/concept better, this one does deliver. The atmosphere is very much a listening bar and they have a great selection of cocktails that are all well made. The food menu is on the small side but everything we had was good. The highlights were the burger and the rice. If I liked cream cheese more on sushi I would say the salmon nigiri are a must, but they did do it about perfectly as the cream cheese wasn't too overpowering or too much. Still though, I wish they had a sushi option that didn't have cream cheese. Overall I would say this place is perfect for an after show dinner or a late night hang with some friends.”

“The salmon nigiri has the perfect amount of wasabi for spice and cream cheese to soften. The Karaage chicken was perfectly crispy. Everyone knows the cheeseburger here will rock your world, submerged in beer cheese to dip with every bite!”

“Can’t gush enough about how much I liked this place. Straddles the line between a vibe-y date night spot and a friendly neighborhood bar. They have a pretty slimmed down food menu where everything is a hit, but also with lots of cocktail and drink options. Had the Greek Salad cocktail (by some distance the best savory drink I’ve ever had), their burger (delicious and way more interesting than the description gives it credit for), the bing bread and crudite with ssamjang, and the boozy bingsu dessert (definitely a show stopper and not too sweet).”

“Splendid. We married Bing Bread with Salmon Nigiri, Chicken Karaage, & Kimchi Stone Bowl. The Bing Bread is delightful. The Salmon Nigiri was good, however, reminiscent of sushi. The Chicken Karaage was toasted to perfection. The Kimchi Stone Bowl was presented last and provided a tasteful finish. (Intentions of a return to try the burger)”
