I cant even describe to you how amazing this food is. I got chicken poutine, and the flavors were so rich and multi dementional. I know thats an off way to describe it, but it was like layers of flavor. Easily Chicago's best resteraunt! I believe it was the owner I spoke with - he was very friendly and kind. I will stop here every time I visit chicago.

Owner is amazing and very nice. My order didn’t deliver the first day and he promptly reimbursed me. I came by the next day, ordered my food and he kept me company. When I got back to my house, I found out he gave me free baklava!!! Chicken shawarma is a must, definitely go if you’re around.

I came to pick up a quick order. I ordered online not knowing what to order everything seemed delicious. I walked in and I went to pick up my order. I was surprised from how many other orders there were. The atmosphere was very friendly. And the staff were very nice. I will be back!

I stopped by Rumi Middle Eastern Grill in Wicker Park because I was hungry and craving something healthy. Right from the start, the experience was inviting—two young men were outside handing out falafel samples. I’m usually not a fan of falafel, but theirs was so tasty it actually surprised me! Inside, I ordered the steak shawarma plate. The food was fresh, flavorful, and satisfying—exactly what I was hoping for. The steak was perfectly seasoned and the sides complemented the dish well. You can really taste the quality and care in every bite. Service here is just as impressive as the food. The gentleman who took my order was respectful, patient, and had a genuinely friendly vibe that made me feel welcome. It’s clear that customer service is a priority at Rumi. If you’re in the neighborhood and looking for delicious, healthy Middle Eastern food with great service, I highly recommend giving Rumi a try!

Haven’t been here for awhile and the decor is completely different. Much more elegant it’s great for couples or groups. My fav is the kefta and chicken kabob. Bomb.com P.S. The free falafel yall gave me was spot on 👌🏼 Update: I stopped by earlier and bought their tray that feeds 15 people! Family was from out of town and they loved it! Thanks again guys!!

Rumi was a delightful place to eat after a day of thrifting. Considering both our gyro wrap and chicken shawarma pita were under ten bucks each, it was a delightful surprise to bite in to a filling, savory meal loaded with crunchy veggies. The staff was very polite and made the right decision in recommending I try the wrap. I also took home a delicious piece of baklava! I recommend this place for anyone looking for a quick bite for something healthy.

“this place is AMAZING.”

this place is AMAZING! we got the Pitas and I asked for chicken kabob in mine and it was amazing. Their falafel is the best I’ve ever tried. The workers were so kind too, they made the experience even better. Definitely a fun choice in wicker park :)
